  1. I have imagination, that Russia hasn't real oligarchs. All real oligarchs already either escaped from Russia like Abramovich, or dead like Berezovskiy, or jailed like Khodorkovskiy. All other "oligarchs" either appointed "wallets" of Putin/FSB close to Putin like Prigozhyn, Roldugin, Rottenberg, Chaika, Miller etc, or large businessman, which "brought full loyality oath" to Putin with FSB part in their business and of course compromissing evidence and threat of window flight. So, no any "private armies" or "oligarch armies". Prigozhyn is just "Sauron's voice", empowered by Putin. Wagner, Liga etc - all they band of merceneries, hired for state funds, which turned out in pockets of such "oligarchs". No-no! ) Russian (Moskovite) feudalism like in 14-17 centuries is nothing like Europe. This is Golden Horde type super-centralized power, where all nobles either 100 % loyal to Tsar or dead/expelled. Indeed this is Ukraine has hystorical tradition of private armies. Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth nobles (under Lithuanian also means local Ruthenian (Ukrainan) nobles), ruling in the Ukrainian landsб had own armies and contested with Polish central power for own old rights if seen attempts of kings to strenght own power. Later turmoils among Cossacks in the second part of 17th century caused that sometimes several hetmans (cossack warlords, having some state administrative power in Ukraine, when in Poland and Lithuania hetmans were just temporary warlords) could exist with own armies, and this bored known proverb in Ukraine "where are two Ukrainains there are three hetmans". So, such tradition of nobles "court hosts" and self-organized Cossack bands (when they only appeared) with frontier mentality borned in 2014 huge number of volunteer units (many of which really were micro-PMC). Even Azov was "favorite toy" of former Internal affairs minister Arsen Avakov (middle-hand oligarch). Unlike in Russia UKR oligarchs have a parellel with 15-17 centuries nobles, opposing to central power or suporting it for some benefits, so this is one of reasons, why in Ukraine dictatorship is almost impossible. About Akmmetov - this is not good example. Workers cooperated with DPR fighters for "joint patroling" but not for withstanding to them. Better example with Akhmetov - he as largest maphiozi had own criminal army, which was known under name "Lux". Soon he legalized this thugs as "security company Lux". He had own chiefs of local police, local SBU (Khodakovskyi was commander of Donetsk "Alfa" SBU Spetsnaz and became commander of Vostok DPR unit), Procecution Office... He could just said a word and his bandits could eliminate all pro-Russian insurgents... But... Akmetov, who had a plans to dictate own demands to Kyiv's power and made own game, at last outplayed himself.
  2. This guy from 46th air-assault. Kherson direction
  3. Despite Strela-10M3 are usual AD asset in any UKR brigade, they almost never were spotted in action. But this one is exclusion
  4. Russian newest Kinzhal missile, crashed in Stavropol' region after launch
  5. Subs are not corresponded to his speech. Likely mistake.
  6. 100 TORs? Really? All Ukranian TORs were from first series of production, so very raw. As far as in 2001 they were decomissioned, because numerous malfunctions and failures. There weren't tech. specialists and parts for repair. Though as I can recall about one battery of TORs were repaired and brought to service again since 2017. At the end of 2018 there were test firings from upgraded TORs and Kubs, there were plans to bring back some number of theese SAMs, but I don't know either this was did or not. I didn't see Kubs in service. S-125 - likely upgraded version was adopted for Naval forces Number of S-300 launchers overestimated PS. Our AD now successfully intercepts most of cruise missiles, including Kh-101 - during Russian strike on Dnipro several days ago all 5 Kh-101 launched to this city were shot down. Main problem are Kh-22, Iskanders and Kinzhals
  7. Some other weapon slang (usually common for UKR and RUS): - Dashka (was heard in this video) - hypocrism form of female name Darya - DShK HMG - Kalashmat - combined "Kalashnikov"+"avtomat" (SMG), but also similar to the Russian word "koloshmatit' " - jargon, which means "to inflict many punches, to beat up" - AK-rifle - bekha - jargon name of BMW car - BMP - Kabanchyk ("little boar") - 120 mm or 122 mm shell - mishka - hypocrism from Russian "medved' "(bear) - tank. I don't know why - motolyha - combined from "motor" and consonant jargon word "kolymaha" (eng."rattletrap") - MTLB - Grach ("rook") - Su-25 - Sushka - any Su-aircraft - Krokodil - Mi-24 - Sapog ("hight boot") - SPG-9
  8. Zhdanov is the same sort "experts" like Arestovich, but if auditory of Arestovich are mostly people, who nothing understand in warfare, that Zhdanov is for more competent audience. Anyway both are supported by President's Office. Both have to radiate optimism to society. Zhdanov is retired colonel (retired in 2007), but his military analytic attempts and prognosіs during ATO were complete bull s...t. If you need real good situation assesment - Mashovets is the best since 2014.
  9. Just US flag patch - no more ) Troopers of both sides like to decore themselves with different patches and chevrones )
  10. It's just Trukha. They sometime have some exclusive, but you should be carefull with theese hype-eaters )

  12. Russian TG Fighterbomber wrote Su-34 was hit by own AD. Crew ejected and survived. Su-25 - control lines failed during the turn after take-off, pilot dead. Also our troops, advancing in Izium area have found crash sites of Su-30SM, Su-34 being shot down much earlier and Su-25SM, being shot down four days ago About our air losses - on 7th Sep Su-25 was shot down, the pilot, Vadym Blahovisnyi, got lost
  13. Bushmasters of 80th air-assault brigade in Oskil river area
  14. Usual Soviet style is "skirmish line" aside IFV )
  15. Belarusian volunteer unit "Terror" is crossing Inhulets and fighting somewhewre on bridghead
  16. UKR tanks and M113 (or YPR-765) in action. Likely known episode from Kherson oblast, but from other operator
  17. About today missile strikes At the morning Russians launched several Kh-22 missiles from Tu-22M3, some objects were hit - one of them located in Voznesensk, Mykolaiv oblast (airfield?) At the evening 11 cruise missiles were launched, 9 were intercepted. 7 of the over Dnipropetrovsk oblast - 5 Kh-101 from Tu-95 and 2 Kalibrs, launched from Black Sea. Two unknown type missilles were intercepted near Kremenchuk, Poltava oblast. Two missiles hit thermal power plant in Kharkiv and some power infrastructure in Kharkiv oblast. As result blackout happened in most of districts of Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava and some in Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. Now electricity is restored in Sumy and Poltava oblasts. Also several Iskander missiles hit private cotatdgas area in Pokrovsk town, Donetsk oblast. There are many destructions, at least 9 civilians killed. Bakhmut city was also shelled with MLRS and probably Iskander too
  18. Recently Murz wrote that Russian MoD is going to take D-20 howitzers from LDPR units for Russian army usage and give them instead something... old... There were thoughts it can be ML-20 howitzers, but no. D-1 howitzer of 1943. About 700 were stored on 2017. Unknown what their conditions and what condition of ammo for it. As I know they could fire with later Soviet shells In Red Army D-1 was intended for corps artillery regiments LDPR artillerists ask each other where to get artilllery tables and manuals for theese howitzers
  19. In 2003 he was captain of engineer-sapper unit of 42nd MRD. Probably now he could be a commander of some engineer battalion, for example pontoon.
  20. Operators of 8th SOF regiment captured in Kharkiv oblast full set of Orlan-10 complex - drones, control station, antennas and documentation. UAVs belonged to 15th army aviation brigade of 6th AF/AD Army, Western military districst I think, after some researches, our EW assets could be more easily to supress theese UAVs.
