  1. Kickstarter the **** out of this game, and hire more employees then buy a frostbyte 2 engine (drools)
  2. Thank you so much for sharing, almost brought a tear to my eye.
  3. Throw all 152 into a .rar and put it on mega upload, or rapid share. I've used rapid share before, took about a minute thirty to upload my file. Really easy.
  4. sorry for the stupid question, but how would I go about being able to view them?
  5. Normally I wouldn't butt in and tell people what to do, but reading this makes me think it was a pretty realistic and compelling battle. THB i don't know what drop box is, but I do know what youtube is. Youtube is free advertisement. I bought this game thanks to that mockumentory, just think if your aar or "lets play w/ commentary" were to be watched by a enthusiast he would hear your commentary about how important your tactical flexibility and awareness is because this game is so realistic. He would then see your plan in action and think about what he would do differntly, thus interesting him in the game. Earning Battlefront a sale and giving yourselves some fame in the process. Personally I love watching people play and see how they need to evolve tactics to meet certain situations, so i'm biased about "lets play" videos, but I hope you will give it some more thought. Thanks.
  6. yeah, tbh I loved shock force Marines but I never modded it. I just discoverd custom content with CMBN. That, and my point was I would atleast be engaged(pun!) more in a equal force on force action then counter insurgency.
  7. Modern warfare is compelling, the death toll that can be dealt out staggering, and because of technology where the enemy/s will always know where each other are you always have think on your feet. Drones, satellite thermo imaging, the land warrior system. War is hell. But seriously, its only compelling if you have a foe that can fight back. The only threat in SF and friends is the ATGM, thats it. No wonder people wernt thrilled with it. It's boring. At times I even felt bad about the enemy situation. step 1, scout for atgms. step 2, assault and destroy them step 3, mop up everything else with uncontested armor.
  8. I hope its a new campaign system, where you choose our battle and what units, rather like the CC series.....only better. I want to see the land that my lads bleed for.
  9. thanks guys I'll check it out right now !
  10. So tonight started like any other...trolling fourms, and I come across the thread asking for the best sound mod. So I check out the link and download it without giving it much though. But I decide to stick around and see what else I can find, so I find a Band of brothers menu sound pack, so I had another "Don't even ask just fk*ing download it. I'm then hooked. I find a new gui mod and install it ( i didn't honestly think the default needed to be replace, but whatever.) I then install some sound mod for the Americans yelling. After those few mods I feel pretty confident that I'm finished, but before I close the page a imiage catches my eye and I look further...http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/mods/4517/details I read the description and think it sounded pretty cool. So I install the mods (First time mod user for this game, BTW thank god its so dang easy!!!!!), put my headphone on and start the game. I'm instantly treated to an amazing music score and completely puts me in the mood. I select the campaign and realize almost everything from the sounds to the gui will be new to me. I read the campaign description on how the author wants to immerse the player and I think that its perfect because my new sound track already has me there. I load up the first mission and read the story and am instantly "there" (don't tell me you guys haven't ever experienced it :/) I start the mission and begin maneuvering my men into place and out of no where BAM!!! (more like zip) I sound I instantly know as a real freg'n mg42 scares me so bad I jumped outta my seat, no freg'n joke. I want to go on and on about how absolutely amazing the campaign is, you make real decisions about how the campaign will proceed next and you could come out for better or for ill for your decisions. I played through the whole campaign in about 3 hours, hence the time of writing this post. Long story short thanks to modders I've rediscovered why I love this game so much. I can't wait to get home from work tomorrow and fire it up again. if you've never modded before I highly recommend it.
  11. Thank goodness for that. That tax crap takes out 1500 a month from my freg'n check, once that happens I wouldn't mind paying full price for products. You had some points about how are they going to profit from a DLC exclusive line of products thanks for bringing that to my attention. TBH I was just blind rageing.
  12. RUM HAM! So I would figure since all these games will use the same engine CMx2(?) why couldn't all the additions or changes then be applied to all the games? Sorry, just ticks me off about how much money they'll be taking out of my pocket with so little changes. If the engine stays the same you really are just paying full price for a model/skin/texture/map pack. which is essentially an expansion pack with any other game on the market, I don't see why this would change just because they're selling to a niche market.
  13. I'll disagree there. Yes some of the soldiers were third echelon troops but their leadership was top notch, their NCOs were battle tested, but their moral was terribly low, it wasn't motivation that won them the day, it was the lack of logistical support from the ally's that ultimately cost them the operation. But as one can imagine it was the multitudes of problems for the ally's that really lost them the day. My argument I suppose is that it wasn't the motivation that helped them win, it was the Ally's over ambition. Well that and the Germans out numbed and outgunned the Ally's who jumped out of plans to attack behind enemy lines.....na, that couldn't of affected anything. /endrantarguementthing
  14. Well If they make Battle of the Bulge what would be the difference between BN and BofB? Snow textures? the German snow textures would be interchangeable with the german eastern front stuff, so if you buy the EF game then all your really getting is some 30 million pissed off Russians in snow textures. If they are both full fledged games thats $120? I could/would pay full price for a game or sequels but After buying the core game BN everything else would just be Skin/model packs TBH unless they add rather large changes to the engine They should make everything else expansion packs aside from the core game BN
  15. staggered column would of came in handy me thinks
  16. Squad formations. I'm entirely sick of watching my squads walk in a single file line. If this game truly has a real POV spotting system then you need formations. Atleast the wedge and line formation.
  17. I hope you can combine all those games so you can jump between theaters in the same QB or campaign menu. I'm really looking forward to having true airborne models.
  18. wyoproducer , your videos convinced me to buy this game and to sign up on the forums just to thank you!
