When Engineers search for mines (like down a road), is it better to use the Move command or the Hunt command. Using the slow command would just be too slow. I'm playing the new British campaign in Final Blitzkrieg and thar be a lot of mines out thar.

Does this effect the game or is that what they do in the real world?

What is the best way to use a 2IC section tactically? Should they be used as security for your Company Commander or as a commander for moral purposes. For that matter, does a company commander increase the moral of the company when they are nearby? How nearby should a leader be for the effects to be felt? Thanks, Probus

But why? Why is the EU and USA doing that? Don't they know how important this conflict is? Do they not want to see Russia collapse (even at the risk it may cause a major power vacuum)? Why did we 'fight' the Cold War? The hard right was all behind defeating the USSR. Now they've flip-flopped. I just don't get it. All we have to do is provide arms to the Ukrainians. That supports our defense industry. No US servicemen (or women) are being asked to risk their lives. This should be a no-brainer. Is it because of the election year?

Is there any way to tell if a unit is a core unit when playing a campaign? I haven't noticed any.

I've been playing since approximately 2000. I had the first 2 games. Really enjoyed them. Didn't rediscover the franchise until 2020 when looking for instructions on how to reinstall CMBO. I went crazy over CM2 and within a couple months had all the games and DLC (except Afghanistan). Been my #1 goto game ever since.

Thanks @Erwin, I found a cache of weapons with ranges and armor. Its not complete but it covers most of the equipment. I don't know where I got it either, it was just on one of my hard drives. If anyone has a link to these Silhouettes, please post it.

I would just like to see an expanded ToE. A simple patch that adds modern weapons would be nice. Breathe life back into the game without the risk of being called out as profiteering from the war. Everyone gets to simulate (to an extent) what’s going on over there with little to no risk to BFC. Players could create the maps and scenarios and upload them to FGM. A compromise that might just leave everyone happy and dying for this damn war to be over. Then BFC could release somefink with proper drone warfare and minefields and such.

Yeah. That is messed up but I don’t think it happens on the BFC side. I think that is a problem that Slitherine inadvertently causes. It would be nice if BFC could return a negative score number or something that would trigger the system to give 1/2 points or whatever the rule should be.
