  1. I installed, paying close attention to which files were updated, and it seems that many 3d models have been updated /fixed/corrected...Then Rexploded the newly installed, updated brzs and found new updated animations, vehicles 3d models etc,...

  4. Thanks a lot Mord and DC, awesome job!! This must have been a lot of work! Lt Bull, this mod, as you say, asks the player to choose and rename if needed. So, in my case, I may use some generic portraits for everyday battles and if on a campaign or a looong battle, choose the appropiate portraits, which surprisingly adds a lot to inmersion.
  5. Just finished this battle. Conclusion: 5 starts out 5. Well designed map (although mud and ditches turned me crazy!!!). Well balanced (a little on the hard side). Very very enjoyable. I had a fantastic time playing it, highly recommended guys. Thanks PanzerMike!! BTW: I achieved a Major Victory for the poor Brits. Sadly, my final blow came to a halt, my guys were exhausted and had high losses...so I agreed a ceasefire 15 minutes remaining,... *****SPOILER ALERT******
  6. Playing this scenario right now, enjoying it very much,....I guess my Brits will suffer a lot to get a victory ...I´ll see if I can get a victory, will write some comments for the designer here once i end this great battle THANKS PanzerMike!!!

  9. BTW, this stretching (only working when the texture is a uniformous color) it's been a problem since CMBN 1.00 days...Jeeps, Greyhounds, Kubelwagens, being the ones that should be fixed first, hear BFC ?

Next, a mod I am enjoying very much, even though it has some texture mapping ..um,...problems...Anyway, I have my tricks by now, after so many headac...er...mods..., so I hope I can jump over the hurdles. I liked modding this vehicle from the start, as the base (possibly Mickey D) is AWESOME. The 3d model is gorgeous too. (although the mapping was simplified in some parts). As it happens when I enjoy them, this mod is something I am quite happy with, even after a preliminary "Beta". Possibly one of my best vehicle mods so far... P.S: for those of you who read "texture mapping problems" and dont understand anything,...well, check the inner side of the fenders....those stretched textured are the result of a stock texture being full green without cromatica variations at all, so, after being added some cromatic variation, logically, looks horrible.

  12. Funny, I would say CMx2 series are experimenting, at last , a virtual take-off and really start to shine....the future looks eventually, VERY promising....

  16. Adding decals, modifying weathering, base texture contrast and sharpening,...these vehicles don't benefit from the ingame lightning system at all. Square or plain surfaces get oversaturated (specially if the shaders are off), and they look like solar panels,... Anyway,...
  17. And this is how a SdKfz251 17 & 21 look like minutes after Aris explodes the BMPs (I can hear them screaming, yelling in pain and desperation,..."Why me? Am I not beautiful, pristine, clean and amazing as I am?"-- "Yes, you are" many would say ). Difficult textures to add weathering to. I revisited my older mods for the SPWs but I then decided to use completely new textures for these ones,..as it used to happen to me, I applied weathering without too much logic or realism back in the ol` times,...
  18. Slight differences actually, but most importantly they look better more realistic ingame due to some refined weathering, specially in turret, where weathering was added too randomly en Version 1.
