I guess "wpn controls" means "weapons control"?

I'm really wondering was this does mean. Apparently, when "wpn control" no weapon can be used. Honestly I don't see what system forbids to use both main guns, coax or bow MG and AA MG???

There is some abstraction going on with damage. Your vehicles can have each individual gun or MG damaged and therefore inoperable or you can have the weapons controls damaged and therefore none of your guns or MGs will operate.

how would a video card issue affect mouse clicks and keyboard commands?

One of the first bugs I reported was a mouse clubhouse issue. Only AMD drivers were converting the point incorrectly. They had put in a workaround for the issue and then AMD fixed their big and then the game did goofy things in certain situations. So, they took out the workaround (actually they made it optional, it might even still be in the option menu).

Bottom line the graphics driver is involved in handling / processing mouse events.

    A thousand lulz:

"does not have any concerns regarding territorial claims from the Russian Federation"

See, the destruction of large amounts of Russian army equipment and the death of thousands of their soldiers has a clear benefit to the world: Some countries are no loner concerned about Putin's threats of attack.

The quality of the tank is one thing, the other thing now and has been Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) space based, drone based. In real time anything on the battlefield can be seen and instantly targeted and blasted off the map. That's what Russian has been doing and will continue to do. Ukraine is doomed. I don't care how many Abrams are sent when they get anywhere near Russian forces they will be turned into so much scrap.

Sounds like you have that backwards my friend. Tanks have not had as much effect on the battlefield as many expected mostly due to the simple and plentiful man portable AT systems. That has effected both sides - this is why we didn't see tanks roll into Kyiv and why we don't see tanks rolling over the RA defensive lines now. The tanks being blasted from C4ISR is a contributing reason but not the major factor. On that front it's the AFU that has the upper hand. They have excellent C4ISR and precision munitions are are very capable of using it. The RA has much weaker ISR and much less capable precision munitions.

The balance of C4ISR and raining precision strikes on the enemy is heavily, heavily in the AFU's favour.

    Ukraine is far from doomed.

Rob I'm not seeing that here - Win11 in my case.

It's a browser thing not an OS think. With the home page up in your favourite browser click <ctrl>+ a few times until the menu entries are replaced by a hamburger menu (square icon with three horizontal lines on it). Normally that control will display the menu when you click on it. It does display a menu but that menu does not include a link to the community.

To get things back to how you like to view them press <ctrl>- a few times or <ctrl>0 to restore to 100%.

I think it's unusual to have hotlinks simply disappear from a webpage at different resolutions

It is and that would qualify as "not good". At first I though you missed the hamburger menu button that appears once you zoom in but the top level links are not in that menu page. So, you are correct they just go away. @BFCElvis @Battlefront.com this seems like a bug in the web page responsiveness design.

Maybe add some instructions to the login screen that the email address needs to be filled in (associated with the PBEM++ account), maybe it's left blank as people don't see the need for it as they wont share the email address with their opponent.

Oh yeah there is a bug there for sure. Either its optional and things should work or it isn't an you should be required to correctly enter it to successfully log in.

the extradition efforts will keep this in the news cycle for much, much longer than it naturally would.

Maybe maybe not. Note the linked article says the Polish education minister has said he is considering starting extradition proceedings.

Hummm there is a lot in that sentence that make this seem more like musings than actual action.

Could they be Steam only or does it not work like that Ian?

If find it a bit wonky. To play PBEM++ (including the tournaments) you need a Matrix account. It seems that if you create one for the forum community that one can also be used to play. But you can also create one for playing PBEM++ but that does not automatically create a forum account. If you log into both sites you will have two different log in experiences and even though the user name and pw are the same and clearly some syncing happens, they are really two separate accounts.

Its not how I would set things up but it is what it is. Things like this often happen organically and then get resolved to various degrees of seamlessness. At any rate anyone that created an account to play and didn't bother to create a community account first is probably not a good candidate for checking their DMs anyway so C'est la Vie.

  10. One other wrinkle that I suspect no one else has experienced but your symptom matches closes to this: you cannot use a launching tool to start the game. Or more precisely my tool (Whose Turn Is It?) cannot be used to launch the game in order to play a PBEM++ game. If you do logging in crashes or hangs. I have not figured out what the issue might be but to play you have to launch from the .exe or a windows short cut.

I did a few rounds with support trouble shooting only to find it was my own damn fault - oops sorry @BFCElvis and the super nice guy a Matrix whose name I forget.

Have the same problem like some others, only playing "half" the battle in CMCW (US side).

In CMBN and CMRT both battles are showing up and turns (and bullets in CMBN) are exchanged! ;)

Try including your email when logging into the system (make sure it is the one associated with the account) with any game that is doing goofy things. We now have two users who solved slightly different problems by doing that.

None of my business George but I can't see anyone with that username on this forum, which I guessed from it not being highlighted in your post?

I'm matched against chic44 in another facet of the tournament. I looked for him on the Matrix forum and didn't find him there either. Two out of my three opponents are not on the matrix forum and do not appear to be on the other popular war gaming sites either.

  13. This is user to user support not necessarily monitored by support personal.  Someone recently had issues with turns being sent because they were able to log in with just the user name and pw leaving the email address blank. When you log in do you provide your user name, pw and email address? If not try doing that and see if that helps.

Otherwise contact the matrix support group.

If he is "evil-nazi-SSman", why he lives in Canada alredy more than 70 years? Maybe because after the war all former members of Division were verified and didn't found guilty? Like and division itself. Canada, USA and UK gave a shelter to members of "Halychyna" division and they never were given to USSR and under justice, despite several attempts of USSR to initiate pursuit.

We have had a non trivial number of Nazis slip in from the period after the war. There was even several grave site memorials to SS units put up when they passed. Some people turned a blind eye after the war for some of them. Others just managed to lie convincingly. Most have lived out their lives a few have been found out and prosecuted.

Our speaker of the house is a by partisan appointment that is usually, but not always, a member of the ruling party. Their job is to enforce the house rules and maintain decorum (ish). They do not set the legislative agenda - that falls to the government house leader directed by the PM - a different and more powerful position.
