4th Guards "Kantemirovskaya" Tank Division already receiving T-80UE-1.
Kantemirov will be first to receive T-14. So these will be binned. UE-1 was first delivered in 2005.
All T-80 is meant to be out of service by the end of the year.

Politics has consigned comrade T-80 to the history books I am afraid.
Looks like T-90AM we have ingame will just be designated T-90M by the MoD then. The turret on Proriv-3 model and 3d model has a different hatch configuration than T-90AM.

I have seen similar bugs with the Ukrainian Su-24 dropping bombs on CAS. Could be related.

no there literally is a hole in the wall next to my comp. ill opem the save when i get bored tonight. if anyone has a cmp that lpads scenarios FAST pm me and ill send save. cuz it takes several minutes for mine. 99% it was the sabot my T90AMS always fire that against mbts. even with heat i dont buy it that wudnt hace been a kill. whatever one in a million.
Neither do I really. HEAT maybe, but sabot, not at that range. Unless the round actually left the barrel then took a magic trajectory into a redundant part of nowhere.

152mm precision rounds are unreliable at best against the M1. About 1 out of 6 rounds will penetrate and kill the tank. I saw some rounds penetrate and some bounce on the same hit spot. Depends on the angle I guess. Direct hit 90 degrees, most will penetrate. But sometimes the angle is just enough to add some LOS thickness and stop the round. So I guess it must be able to barely penetrate the top armor under ideal circonstances Maybe the hatches and some spots are weak points too. Every polygon has an armor thickness rating.
To be fair antares my experience with that has been the exact opposite. I think every 152mm strike I have ordered on an M1 has managed to mission kill the vehicle.
When I was referring to the APFSDS or HEAT I was referring to the point blank side shot in the images MOS posted.

hmm. well i mean the LWR auto slew to target and pop smoke must be some wat useful? its saved abrams from me at least. how can you tell what ERA tanks have in game? look on wikipedia?
Most of the gear is in the manual matey.
Then it is just a case of looking it up.

SA-19 GRISON has a missile flight ceiling of roughly 3600m and the MQ-1C is about 6000m I believe. If SA-15 GAUNTLET made a sudden appearance in an expansion I wouldnt be complaining, it would topple this monopoly.
I did not know that about the Zala, and will take more of these instead.
I always have been using the Pchela. Its a gamble in PBEM whether your opponent will be taking aircraft and you bringing along air defence. Luckily Stinger and Igla teams are cheap. I might even suggest that for what it is, the SA-19 GRISON is actually too cheap. -
With good dropbox coordination it is possible. Although the temptation to exert ones own influence on your buddies company/platoon is ever present as you may see tactical situations differently.

It has about a 10% (probably lower) chance to work on US weapons systems in game, the Javelin and TOW-2. It has a slightly better chance to work against low technology Ukrop systems.
It doesn't really do much all in all. Comes as standard fit on T-90A, though why you would pick that over T-90MS is beyond me.

On the basic bn tac group orbat, its much cheaper to bring 2x3 2S19M2 batteries to the fight.

Best tactic against enemy armour?
- Bring a drone.
- Bring an Air Controller attached to an FO Team.
- Bring something with 152mm precision shells.
- ???
- Profit.

To start miller id get your hands on an existing bump map from the game of the unit you want to retexture and go from there.

Modding freedom is always the way forward though. If you don't like someone's creation. Don't play it. Nobody forces you to use their mods. Simple. You can carry on to play plain jane vanilla cmbs to your hearts content.

they are tie down for stowage. Normal MTLB does not have turret, so stowage is stored on top of the vehicle there.

Modding capabilities past scenario creation can turn a game from obscure into a hit. If anything BF should support the project. Just look at ArmA and Elder Scrolls series.

I come to Russian military forums, it's a circle-jerk of bouncing similar opinions on a one side loop. I come to US oriented forums like this one, and it is exactly the same circle-jerk of high an mighty opinionated posting, just the other way around. Such a shame mp.net has died. It felt like the only place where two camps would actually meet and have a discussion.
