  1. I think this can be considered a bug - something that BF should address.
  2. If I had a free Battlefront title for everytime I heard that, i'd be supplied well into 2100 re: Erwin I use covered arcs constantly, especially with vehicles and overwatch groups.

  4. I'll answer your question, and also provide a full breakdown of the process for those that are interested: 1. Fraps at 1680 x 1050 with stereo sound until HD 1 is full 2. If HD1 is nearing full, switch to HD 2 3. Complete recording. 4. Import video segments into Adobe Premier 5. "preview" mode in adobe premier while recording commentary using Audacity 6. Noise removal/normalization using Audacity 7. Encode video in Premier at HD 30 1080p 8. Upload to YouTube using advanced java uploader re: target light I do use it primarily when I don't want the infantry to expend their AT or the vehicle has a low store of canon rounds. Yes target light is much more useful with the British, those stingy bastards. The scimitars only have something like 100 HE rounds or summat.
  5. I listen carefully. If I hear gunfire or an explosion I pause and check it out. Also pays off to maneuver by overwatch. I'd also like to note that the recording experience actually influences my play style quite a bit: 1. Speed is important because I have limited hard-drive space, and longer videos take longer to encode, and longer to upload 2. I don't want to bore the viewer, so sometimes I have a higher tempo than the safest route
  6. It's not possible to have the marders close for support, because around every corner is a tank or BMP. Also there's the matter of moving them across the open, where ATGMs are in ambush. It's basically a repeat of The Factory, except with tanks in the urban centers, and no pioneers to blow through/avoid obvious kill zones.
  7. Too bad it doesn't show it firing a full auto burst, i'd love to hear that Interesting that to train to fire it with one shot one kill accuracy.
  8. Wish that had subtitles. But yeah, it shows them using the air sentry hatches to cover various arcs of the vehicle, just like you can do with the stryker. P.S. I love your sound mod.
  9. Well I have recorded myself playing, I don't think i'm doing anything wrong, if I am, please advise.
  10. Doesn't it seem like the ability of blufor troops to spot in NATO is greatly reduced? I don't think I have EVER spotted an ATGM before it has fired upon me, even though when I know the approximate location of it and set up a fire arc to cover that location. And that's also after spending 10 minutes with vehicles and FOs in overwatch. Units also seem much less likely to spot incoming fire and the source of fire than in pre-NATO. It's quite annoying losing Leopards when you follow the textbook principles of maneuver. Also AGS are the most dangerous weapon in NATO due to their extreme range and the impossibility of spotting where the grenades are coming from. Hell, just turn on the FLIR boys.
  11. Have two more videos ready to go but youtube's advanced upload appears broken >_<
  12. wat? It would work like this: if its set to open up, all personnel are unbuttoned, if its set to not open up, all personnel turn in. Just like it is with the Strykers. The Stryker works perfectly fine, it should just be applied to the Fuchs and other vehicles listed in this thread. I'm guessing they ran out of time before release or something.
  13. See title. Reference: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f0/TPz1.Fuchs.Pionier.jpg I always thought that was such a cool feature of the strykers- rolling into battle with your dudes firing out of the back. It really aided situational awareness while mounted and flank security.
  14. What is your experience in the military?
  15. Yes, I finished it just now - 5 blufor KIA/WIA, 175 opfor KIA, ~40 MIA, ~40 WIA. Thought my casualties would be much higher. Still really feeling the attrition rate. I'll upload the walkthrough before I go to bed.
  16. I was speaking to how badass the Syrian special forces seem to be in Nato, it seems very difficult to suppress them and their combat discipline is absurd. Even when I perform textbook cordon and assaults of buildings, they always seem to squeeze off some accurate fire and kill or incap. one of my troopers. And the RPG-29s are a nightmare.
