  1. {Russia} German and Italian bombers get hits x3 on Russia's convoy port in the North. The Finnish cut the rail while we are at it. A corps dies near Moscow, and we mop up a Partisan in the rear. {Atlantic} My suspisions after seeing the Briths corps holding a port near Ireland were right! The germans send a cruiser to scope out the waters near Iceland and we run into a British corps and Army via transport. We sound the alarm and Tripitz leads an attack with subs and DD to kill both. There is a British cruiser in sight as well. We send some some additional ships and subs to battle it out with the Aussies and Britsh DD that nearly sunk some of our u-boats near Azores. We get some hits and no kills. {Middle East} Syria is in Russian hands now. There are tanks x2 there and the Afrika Corps awaits. {China} They are coming fast and hard, we land near half a dozen new units to form defensive positions. We need to form some lines after getting sloppy. {Burma} Burma defender in capital reduced to 4 in infantry battle.
  2. {European Theatre} Lots of clear skies, except where nearly every one of my planes are stationed in the East and West. Oh well. Russians break open the German lines again killing a corps. Bulgaria is getting getting rough on the Germans. We reduce the German Panther to 7,Army to 2, Sofia defender to 2, Another army there is already 6. Can't take Vichy it's raining. It's raining over Britian. {Pacific Theatre} Brunei is liberated finally, and only because the Japanese ran away. Russians take Chita back behind their mighty tanks. The Japanese will be happy to see even more tanks sent to the far east. We need to get rolling on killing these Japanese units.
  3. {European Theatre} Americans make a move to take Vichy France but can't get it done, rain holds back to much of it's airforce. I want clear skies so much. In Bulgaria another British corps lands just to muck it up. Carriers are striking Sofia to reduce the entrenchment to 0. The Russians move forward at first sight of clear skies, killing a Special Forces and a few other random hits. We are face to face along the entire front lines. Russian paratroopers make a move to take Warsaw but a HQ is there, so we move to cut the Sweden convoy port, no dice there either, Damn. {Pacific Theatre} Brunei holds on under heavy attacks, carriers can't strike to finish them off. Japanese defender in Chita reduced to 3, the Russians send a wave of troops to the front lines at the though of a break through. ** Scook is doing a great job of keeping Germany on it's toes. I am trying to break in everywhere. Japan is a real empire, it's a true uphill battle in the Pacific.
  4. January 1945 {Europe} Russian infantry move into unoccupied Riga, the Germans keep pulling back inch by inch. The Axis make a sloppy move and don't reclaim the port of Albania after the fall short fall of Italy. The British land 4 corps and HQ between Greece and Yugoslavia and nearly kill a German Bomber. The Russians are closing around Sofia themselves, and the British will certainly be an unwanted distraction. Snow everywhere grounds my air, even choppy seas in the Med. Vichy France proves a hard task to beat when marching through snowy mountains. {Pacific} Can't kill the Brunei defender. That's it.
  5. Late August 1942 {Russia} The German Army easily marches into Mowcow and Voronezh behind, there simply is limited resitance. Russian fighers are spotted near Stalingrad. {Atlantic} Italian Submarine on patrol in the Atlantic bump into Aussie cruiser just East of Azores, a couple German U-boats are dispatched and bump into another. Is there something more to this? Upon further investigation a UK corps is spotted holding the Belfast port. Much to think about indeed. {Middle East} The Afrika Korps take control of Amman. {Pacific Theatre} I can't stress enough what a mess this is in China. The Chinese have forced their way out of the holes they dug around Chungking and have done so sucessfully. A Jap HQ was repeatedly nailed near Sian and has finally wiggled to safety but possibly at a cost of some of my Japanese troops still stationed in the North. I've taken Yenan, Chengchow, Foochow, and Nanning only since the war has began. Light infantry fighting continues around Burma, and I still have not landed in Singapore.
  6. January 1944 Russia is gaining ground in Bulgaria, we kill 4-star German Army to crack open their defensive line. More russians pour through the Turkish fountain. We continue to try to thin out German resources by a DOW on Vichy France. Tough weather slows our advance to Marseilles but the new threate has to keep the Axis on their toes. German corps in Naples barely survives at strength 1. {Pacific Theatre} Brunei is still in Japanese hands as it's slow moving through the Jungle. We drop another HQ for some added supply. Trench warfare everywhere else.
  7. December 1944 {European Theatre} The cold blowing winter continues across the front lines of Eastern and Wesern Europe, nothing much happens. In Italy more allied troops land to prepare for battle with German forces. The elite german corps in Naples is reduced to 6. In Bulgaria a Hungarian Army is destroyed by Russian Infantry and Tank group, while Sofia is bombed from 10 to 4. {Pacific Theatre} American and Australian forces capture Balikpapan (Brunei island). The Russian submarines were expendable, we wanted to scope out Japanese naval defence around Japan. It was very well guarded. Lots of air fights over China, but no ground attacks by the Chinese, or the Russians for that matter.
  8. {Europe} Rome collapases under combined carrier strike and attacks from the sea. British Army and corps land and take the city. Italy is out! A german corps killed near Sofia, Russia is coming in strong. In Russia some minor attacks in the South, it's snowing from France to Rostov so no major offensive on either front lines. {Pacific Theatre} Russian Tanks kill Japanese Army near Chita. We had to chase around that Japanese submarine near DEI but we got em'.
  9. October 1944 {Europe Theatre} Lots of rain bogs down our offensive in the East and West. More Russian troops march into Bulgaria from Turkish channel. There is action in Italy as the American Airborne infanty fight from Venice, and Rome better watch out. Italian infantry is banged down to only 2 strength by only Carrier strikes. The Venice defender have lowered the supply in Rome as well. {Pacific Theatre} Americans and Aussies land with HQ's on Brunei island to duke it out. China and Burma is a stalemate. The Russians send Tanks to the front lines to test the Japanese infantry.
  10. August 1942 {Russia} Germans cautiously approaching the Volga, where Rambo is though to make his stand. Some units ping Moscow, not a major attack though. {Middle East} Axis units cross the suez canal into Palestine territory and take the port. {Pacific Theatre} Chinese are on the charge still and we are trying to bust them up. Damage is spread across the field but again no kills just lots of damage. Jap Carriers are getting invloved with the units coming too close to the coast. Singapore defender killed, they weren't reinforced but no Japanese landings. Japanese forces begin to ping Burma capital.
  11. July 1940 {Russia} How deep have the Russians gone? They have forts built Rostov and Stalingrad, I'm guessing that's where they want to make their stand. The German Army clears Kursk and Kharkov of defending armies and move in. We kill the Rusisan destroyer North of Britain. {Middle East} Russian tanks are poised to attack poorly defended Iraq. There are amercian fighters and a British HQ over there too. This is starting to look like operation neptune (Patton Drives East). {Pacific Theatre} The Chinese are on the move, but without their precioius mountain holes are easy to hit. Even still though no kills, just lots of damage dished out. Singapore pounded but not destoryed. Burma offensive is delayed.
  12. {European Theatre} The Allies throw some punches along the German border, no kills but reduce a few corps near death, ping Brussels and attack Tank group from the skies. Speaking of the skies, American Para's land in empty Venice. Rome continues to get worked on by Carriers another 3 hits. The Russians advance into Bulgaria once again with a pair of Armies. On the German front we take it easy in the rain. {Pacific Theatre} US Navy counters Japaneses spare pieces attack and kills a pair of subs and Crusier. There will be anothe exchange for sure, but the Americans are not fooled by hidden carrier tactics and do not over commit. We do land a SF south of Brunei to do some scoping out. In the far east Russian infantry advance on Japaense occupied Chita and get a few hits. Pretty quiet in China/Burma on my end.
  13. {Russia} Germans Tanks pound Smolensk to caputre the city. German infantry capture both Russian mines in the South. A Russian cruiser is sunk North of Britain. {Middle East Region} The Afrika Corps aproach Khartoum, and take control over Port Sudan, while German and American fighters battle it out between Alexandria and Kuwait. {Pacific Theatre} Japanese take over Dutch East Indies. They turn their attention to Rangoon, sending a scout to check out the capital. Jap Bombers have leveled the city and port to supply 2 and 1. Singapore coprs nailed by carriers down to 3 strength. Some ground action in China, 1 corps dead near Chengchow, another on life support near Lanchow.
  14. September 1944 {Europe} American infantry go to work on the entrenchment in Brussels. Some air battles over France but nothing decisive. Italian army in Rome take a couple hits from British and American carriers. A corps blocking the Russians from readvancing into Bulgaria is killed and a new Russian Army is moved into the important strait. {Russia} The Germans are using the river to stop Russian advancment. We advance some in the North but nothing gets done. In the Central and South we do not meet the Germans at the river. {Pacific Theatre} DEI Liberated finally. There is still a Special forces in Soerabaja though. More pinging in China/Burma. The front lines in these two countries have been the same all year.
  15. May 1942 {Russia} Axis destroy Russian army in Odessa and take the city. We move troops close enough to scout Smolensk and Kharkov. It's raining again, so our air units take the week off. {Middle East Region} American fighters spotted in Kuwait. British Tac and Bomber spotted on the tiniest strip East of Addis Ababa, the Graf Spree and Italian destroyer try to ping but have no luck. U-30 Sub sails off from Aussie attacker. {China} Our Japanese attack again in the North hoping to show off new infantry weapons. But the chinese have them too. When did that happen, I dunno. We ping around, but it's messy in places. {DEI} Should fall next turn weather permiting. ** Finland Joins the Axis
  16. August 1944 {Europe} Allies prepare for the invasion of Germany. Minor air fights in the sky. {Russia} The Germans are on the run, we take Smolensk, Kharkov, Rostov and a mine without a fight. The paratroopers in Riga are now linked back to Moscow via rail. It looks like the Germans want to make a stand at the River that stretches infront of Riga, Minsk, Kiev and Odessa. The Russians aren't letting up and are nipping at the German's heels everywhere they run. {DEI} Stubborn Japanese defender. Not like they have to fend off much though, our infantry on the island is limited at best. {China/Burma} The Chinese troops get a little more agressive as we try to wear down the resource strapped Japanese. American fighters kill a bomber in Peking. Indian tank group in Burma on it's way to becoming a killer.
  17. July 1942 {Russia} Russians abandon the front lines except for Odessa. We simply walk into Riga, Minsk and Kiev. Hit Odessa, but mostly with minor Army's down to strength 2. The Russians are hanging back, I wonder how deep they have went. {Egypt} The Afrika Korps Army and Tank group take of Egypt all on their own. They surrender. {Pacific Theatre} Thailand is occupied. Some sloppy play ends up with my carrier under the rain by mistake, so a Dutch sub survives, both the cruisers are dead. Dutch corps still alive in the capital. Some more sloppy play near India, the East Italian destoryer runs into South African HQ strength 3 and I mess up and don't attack.
  18. July 16, 1944 {Europe} Allied forces destory german corps in Nantes, and walk into the open French capital. There is a wall of Germans on the path to Berlin now. Axis air is noticeable in Germany and Italy. Americans kill a weak German curiser near Copenghagen. And the russians, they travel an unknown corps via sea to Narvik and land on the empty city to cut off that convoy route for good. {Russia} Russians walk into Kursk, and advance heavily around Smolensk. Rostov safe this turn but we do kill an Army in the South. The Paratroopers in Riga put Manstein in a bad spot, he had to advance back beside Riga as the Russians moved forward. We pop him down to 4. (*The paratroopers were in Volodga, and advance forward by foot and were able to prepare afterwards.) More pinging in the far east. {Pacific Theatre} Rain in China. A few minor infantry exchanges. The defending special forces in the Dutch East Indies is strike over and over by carriers and a few landing corps, he's down to 3 with no supply left. We try to sneak into Brunei, of course it's not undefended. An american corps is stranded.
  19. The USA was fed up and joined the Allies, and so did the Russians on the same turn. {Europe} Germans cross the border, not much to shoot at their is a defender in each of the 4 front cities and 1 entrenched corps in a fort. We kill the corps in fort and do some minor pings on the cities. It's only March so its snowing, there is no air attacks. Not very epic at all. {Med} Italian's strike Cairo from the air, we muck it up with defending fighters but no land advancement yet. {Pacific Theatre} It's raining in Burma, Thailand, DEI, Phillipines, Brunei, Solomons you name it it's raining. That doesn't stop easy landings on Brunei, Hong Kong, and Solomons. Aussie corps comes out of knowhere last turn and hops into Port Moresby in Papua New Guineau. No landing there, we take Rabul instead. Midway, Wake etc. captured, most the good stuff. Japanese HQ lands in Soerabja (DEI) with a couple SF's and tag the defender in Batavia without carrier support. We barely take Phillipines, it comes down to the last unit to do it. US bomber stationed there killed. Peal Harbour smashed.
  20. June 1944 Finally a good turn. {Europe} We call the Axis out on their bluff of a large army guarding Berlin. Paratroopers set sail behind enemy lines we capture and destroy the Ruhr Industrial area and Frankfurt. More airborne troops capture the French mine in the Ardennes. American bombers hammer Berlin x4. American Tanks from Spain and from Transport destroy and reoccupy Bordeaux. Canadian tank group and American corps cut off Nantes (supply 0) from Paris. The british sweep through Portugal and Gibraltar reclaiming lost territory. {Russia} The russians follow suit sending airborne infantry behind the German lines. The 1st lands in Riga, it's empty we pop Manstein who is on partisan patrol. The 2nd lands behind Rostov and does 3 damage to 3 star Italian fighters. Russian Tac air softens up German armour near Kharkov, we send a kamikazie tank group in to finish it off. A second tank group moves adjacent to the closest mine and nearly kills a corps. We advance 7 infantry units to the river protecting Rostov and begin pinging their entrenchment. {Pacific Thetare} More pinging in China/Burma. There were 2 Japanese tac bombers stationed in Singapore, they are wiped out by carrier attack. We continue to smah DEI convoy facilities, and begin pinging the dendender in capital.
  21. March 1942 {Med} Alexandria falls to the Axis. {Rest of the World} The USA prepares for war as Japanese naval forces sit outside Hawaii. Germans are spotted along the vast stretch of the Russian border. The real war is about to begin.
  22. May 1944 {Europe} Spain is out. The large allied invasion was a success. Gibraltar and Portugal are emptied and will be reoccuppied very shorty. Bordeaux and Nantes both bombed down to supply 3. From London the bombing of Berlin begins. {Russia} Some action near Rostov, Russian tanks show up on the front lines for the first time in over half a year at least. We can't muster any kills. An army scopes out Kursk, exchanges hits. Nothing notable in the far east. {China/Burma} Chinese counter at Chungking, we nail an Army for -5. Indian Tactical and Tank smash a special forces for 5 in Burma. {Pacific} Steel clashes in the Java Sea north of the DEI. A modest American strike force makes a move after the Japs gave away positions of a few of their carriers killing a tank. We move in with Aussie cruisers to zero their location and attack with a mix of everything. 2 Jap Carriers sink, a BB's life halved and Submarine nearly sunk. Counter attack is immenent.
  23. Very well so far. USA and Russia are making alot of MPP's even with my heavy diplomacy and just sitting on them so I have no idea what to expect in a few turns.
  24. January 1942 The calm before the storm. {Europe} Germany is master of Europe. But Russia remains a threat, we can longer delay the immenent. Something has to happen soon. {Egypt} The Afrika Korps reach Alexandria and damage the defending corps to 4. Air support is plentiful we nail the British HQ while we are at it. {Indian Ocean} Graf Spree, East Italian destroyer continue cause chaos at nearby ports. U-30 Sub still swims the South Atlantic. {Pacific Theatre} China is looking like a stalemate. Japanese Navy spotted near Hawaii.
