The scenario tells about the struggle between polish and german soldiers. It takes the players to Italy in may 1944, where the two opposing fronts collide in a conflict for god, honor, country, while trying to grasp or hold onto the objectives named: Snakeshead Ridge and Point 593(Mount Calvary). Background The small but fierce battle that took place some 50 kilometers south of Caen in the fields and woods between the small Normandy villages of St. Aignan and Cintheaux on August 8, 1944 has become famous for two reasons. First, it marked the death of Nazi Germany’s most famous tank commander, SS Hauptstürmfuhrer Michael Wittmann, holder of the Knight’s Cross with Oakleaves and Swords. Second, the battle was a pivotal moment in the next to last great British offensive in Normandy, Operation “Totalize.” Playing The Scenario First off you will need to patch your game to 2.00 to play this. The READ ME contains full background info about this very famous (infamous?) action and is worth checking out before playing the scenario.This scenario was primarily designed for play as German attacker Vs Allied AI Defender and all third party testing has been done this way.. There is an AI Plan for the German side but the AI does not do attacking as well as a human would. Still it’ll give you some fun – especially if you like KOing Tigers! If playing against the Allies/Germans there are multiple AI Plans. German AI Plan 1 and Allied AI Plan 1 are the ones that best recreate the actual order and pathway of the attack. You can switch off the other AI Plans in the scenario editor. Given the force balance it’ll also do for H2H. However, this is a historical scenario and the forces are not balanced. About The ScenarioThis scenario comes in three different ‘flavours’. There are two Blue Vs Red: US Mech Vs Red Mech (NATO TV 98-5 Steelers_US) and Brit Mech Vs Red Mech (NATO TV 98-5 Steelers_Brits). Road to Baghdad Mod - v1.0 (USMC Module only)This download contains a rar file of amended Marine, Fedayeen & Iraqi uniforms & faces, splash screens, road signs & buildings. The mod seeks to pull together in one package various mods in order to depict the push by the Marine Expeditionary Force towards Baghdad in 2003. It uses mods by other authors as well as myself. All credit to Normal Dude, RYU, Mord, Birdstrike, M1A1TC Aris and any other authors I may have missed.I have also released my first map and a short scenario - USMC RTB1 Az Zubayr - a heavily fictionalised attack on the Az Zubayr oil pumping station at the outset of the conflict. Map & scenario for my Road to Baghdad Mod (RTB1).This is my first map and short scenario - USMC RTB1 Az Zubayr. Apologies in advance.It depicts a heavily fictionalised version of the attack on the Az Zubayr oil pumping station by elements of the Marine Expeditionary Force at the outset of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. AI plans limited so must be played as blue on red only. Recommend that it is played with the Road to Baghdad Mod. More...

ezTerrainTweak …I made this Mod for myself but maybe someone else may find it useful. Its main function is to reduce the saturation in some of the green foliage and give more of a Hazy green look especially for battles around 12:00 clear day. It only tweak’s or slightly alters the stock graphic. So if you are looking for a new crazy look, this is not what you want and if you are happy with what you have keep it. This is just for people who feel the foliage looks to wet (saturated) and do not want to change their computer color settings but also still look like stock foliage. I did not put the file in (.brz) format so you open up and see what is being changed.ez More...

As part of the opening stages, the Highland Light Infantry of Canada is tasked with seizing the town of Buron to the northwest of Caen.Earlier at 0730 morning companies A, B, C, D of the 1st battalion cross the start line and advance in Buron direction.Now the battalion is arrayed to assault outskirts of town. B Company is attacking the western half of the town while A Company is assigned to hit the right half. C and D Companies are held in battalion reserve, and attack Orchards and German OP in south parts of the town, when outskirts will be taken.1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry of Canada, is to seize the Buron no later than 1100 in order to allow the rest of the division's attack to proceed on schedule. Axis AI World Campaign including hundreds of new scripts with a larger more detailed World map. Mostly Short Computer Turns. For for those who are looking for a different experience with vanilla Global Conflict. Eventually, Allied AI should be ready soon. H2H not tested.
