Vin’s arrow unit basesThis mod changes the unit bases to an arrow which makes it easier to tell which way units are facing even from higher above while eliminating the majority of the base underneath the unit. This improves the givis them a much cleaner look while maintaining maximum function of the base. I think many will find these an improvement over the stock bases in function, and attractiveness.There are multiple arrow types as well as other alternate shapes such as a pentagon to choose from. The default set has the bright thick arrow bases. To use different bases just swap the arrow folders out of the default folder. You can only use one base style at a time of green, or yellow, but you can make a new folder for a personal mix & match yellow, and green combo such as thick faded green arrow with thick bright yellow arrow. Syrian Infantry 2013 v1.0 (CM:SF)This download contains a rar file of amended Syrian 3D infantry models, uniforms, helmets & faces to better resemble those used by the Syrian regime in 2013 (i.e. now use the m97 helmet). It completely replaces the Syrian infantry/Republican Guard in CMSF. It uses mods by other authors as well as myself. All credit to Birdstrike, Mord, M1A1TC, Aris and any other authors I may have missed.It is intended for use with SCW scenarios.WARNING: This mod alters the appearance of the reserve/regular Syrian infantry by replacing them with the 3D model for special forces.   13. Tricky tedious LOS and close quarter armor clashes are no more. Deleted are trees, walls and fences to turn the original Kampfgruppe Engel campaign into an open country mechanized maneuver warfare. Also deleted are most of the off board artillery, so anything that hits you, you can hit it back.What you command is an elite force of:2 platoons of Tiger heavy tanks1 company of Panzergrenadiers1 FO sectionand some extra artillery when neededThe setup zones in some of the scenarios are edited, you will always start at the edge of the map so any defensive position needs to be grabbed fast using the speed of the mechanized troops. The elevations of the setup zones are adjusted to hide them from any OPFOR unit's LOS to prevent bombardment. Use hull down positions and fire and maneuver tactics to utilize the long range advantage of the Tigers, and hide the half tracks well for they're all too fragile to take any incoming fire.The scenarios are purely linear so that everyone of them is played, and they're all the "worst case scenarios" from the original campaign so the OPFOR is at the strongest strength. Resupply and refit is rather generous, but feel free to tweak everything since the core unit file, campaign script and all the scenarios are included in the pack. More...
  14. This is a Blue versus Red AI mission requiring CMSF patched to ver 1.32 and both the British and NATO modules. Users with low specification computers may experience slow frame rates during this mission.This mission is based on Operation HAMMERSMITH and all attempts by 1 PWRR BG to resupply CIMIC House in Al Amarah, Iraq in 2004. Blue forces comprise a Warrior equipped BG while Red forces are insurgents. There are 3 Red AI plans giving added replay value. Be warned that this is a very tough mission and the VPs are such that it is extremely difficult to achieve more than a Blue tactical victory. More...

In the course of the invasion of Syria, our 2nd Regiment / 1st Marines Division has been designated by NATO HQ for blasting the NIRA dam door open, thus freeing the way to the British forces tasked with the assault of the much needed Nira's airfield. The code name of our mission chosen by a NATO bright mind is "Market Garden". Don't get me wrong, we are not going to go in history with a "bridge too far" tag on our back. We are the US Marines and assaulting either by air, sea or ground is our fare. We rather do it rightly and there is no one among our enemies to complain, because there is no one anymore around. You got it right ? Ok let's go through the mission........//....... About the enemy. We have had a new assessment done three days ago. It looks like all aircrafts and helicopters seen earlier have been moved to a farther field. The bad news are that the runway has been partially damaged to prevent any landing by our forces and the good one is that their Air Assets loitering time will only be of short duration, if they use them as expected. About their Ground forces: They have a Static Infantry Company reported as being from the 2 Infantry Battalion stretched from Hassan Village to Nira's Dam and Nira's SP. Some of its Elements seem to occupy the Darya Pass. They could built their defence fire plan around the four bunkers securing the Nira's bridge area.
