I still think you have a duty to advertise more. If I weren't lucky enough to have an uncle show me CMBO, then I would have never had been interested in combat mission. And that would have really sucked. I came from a Starcraft background, and I know that those players love going in depth into strategy and tactics. I think you do have a market in the Starcraft and in particular the Company of Heroes type, if you can get your message across. I'm 21, and I've tried to convince a bunch of people to play CMAK. However, no one my my age can get over the graphics, and the we-go. Now that CMBN has reasonable graphics and has real time, I think I will be able to change their mind.

Add me to the waiting list too, then. If you are in need of map makers, I would be interested in making some.

The "mental anguish" part of this lawsuit would be in the BILLIONS.

Does the game do calculations using thickness and angle, or does it use the simple colour codings? Also, all I would really like are general bars on the units icon, cm1X style. So when you click on a tank, it's silhouette has small colour coding on it. It wouldn't take any programming time... All you'd have to do it change the silhouette picture to have colours representing the thickness. It would be much more intuitive than the bizarre looking ><>>>< symbols.

oh wow, i skimmed through the list of CMAK problems and didn't see this one, despite it being mentioned twice -- silly me, i'll try it and get back to you. Also, when I disable full screen anti-aliasing, will it only disable it for windows, or will it also disable it for CMAK, and the other games I play?

that second link seems to be more like my problem than any of the other ones -- but I don't have shock force, so what files would I try to remove from CMAK and CMBB?

So let's hope this is the best forum for this post. I have a new computer, and it won't run combat mission. whenever I open it, the screen goes black, the music starts to play, and it stays black. I can click buttons (when i click around the screen looking for them), at which point, after I blindly click on the exit button, the screen briefly flashes up. 9950 phenom BE 2 4850's (crossfire) 790FX chipset gigabyte motherboard 2 22'' monitors (but i tried the game using one > ) I built my rig to play games like Crysis and supreme commander, but I'd never leave the classic combat mission behind.

I need to buy an army for an axis assault I'm PBEMing with, and I just realized - I have no idea what 'L/71' and all those other numbers by a tank's gun when you purchase it. So, what do they mean? Oh, and is self-propelled artillery good? I'm never purchased one, how quickly do they fire? will they destroy a building in one hit? is it like a truck with a missle on it, or what?
