While I would prefer a conflict from the past, say NATO vs PACT 1979-89, the Ukraine 2014 would be a definite buy for me. I wonder about things like drones and 120mm GPS guided rounds?

Man, I am a sucky Beta tester. I've been playing the game and didn't notice the change! Makes you wonder what else I'm missing.
It's obvious you have "playtesting fatigue". You have been working hard, take a break. I will sub for you.

What's wrong with social isolation, dirty underwear and dehydration? I have suffered all these ailments while in the throws of BFC games, just ask my first and second wives and several former employers. Look man, most of us fantasized over clipped counters, coffee stained rulebooks and opponents who never showed, for decades. These games give me a reason to save my spare change and call in sick way too much.

Dpabrams, can you recall if the buildings had taken any significant damage (creating abstracted holes) other than small arms fire?
Good question. The first building had taken at least 3-5, 75mm rounds, direct fire. The second building had taken at least 1, 75 mm round directly. Now only the ground level floor was targeted as the troops cannot occupy the attic.

Given the three other Shermans in the first picture I think that in fact he was aiming more likely at the Sherman nearest the building and its an overshoot. However the result with the rocket travelling through several roofs without exploding or deflecting is bizarre.
In this sequence the Schreck gunner was likely aiming at a near Sherman that was in the 120 meter range. The Schreck could not see the Sherman that was hit after the round passed through two houses. This is worse than "bad luck" as now the battle and the war may be lost. I have only noticed this once but it likely has happened before. I won't stop playing BUT I have nearly stopped playing with the British for the most part as I have documented the vulnerability of British tank commanders.

Here are a series of screen shots that demonstrate the superior penetrating power of the 88mm rocket. Not to mention it is a 140 meter kill. I ask in all honestly how the eff does this happen? Is French construction really this shoddy?

Steve bought facebook stock and was seen at Sara Jessica Parker's party for Obama the other night.

Why would we hate you? Did you play the AI?
-
Well you just spotted it and now its KO'd.
So a quick recap.
My marder in tight up to bocage and at a near as 90' as you can get looking at a sherman a couple of hundred metres away for a minute or two. It can see the sherman but cant fire.
A sort of reverse "Tiger Terror"? Dieter is a conscript and aint no way he wants to engage a Sherman with its whopping 2" of plate armor at 100 meters. The safe play is wait for a safer flanking shot against the armored bohemothe we know as the Sherman.
-
I have only used marders twice in game so I understand this isnt much data to go on but I find it almost impossible to get a firing solution through bocage.
I currently have a situation where my marder is tight up against some bocage and can see a sherman 150m away. Whilst it can see the tank I cant target it with the taget selector saying no line of sight from the bocage?
Is this because the chassis is longer than the barrel so it doesnt poke through the bocage or is it just my imagination or bad luck?
Any one else experienced this? If I am correct then I would suggest thinking twice before purchasing these units in a QB where bocage is present.
Hey Simon, I can't even see your Marder but when I do!

I've had this happen to me as well, even with map preview disabled. Very annoying. BFC knows about it, but who knows when/if it will get fixed.

Yep, and the British tank commander vulnerabilty and the medic/ lost Schreck round bug and the crappy Tiger, Lynx and Wespe model. But the word is mum but hey, there is a lotta buzz about the game being played on stoopid little pads along with Angry Birds.

No other game has made me shower less, eat less, chew more, drink more coffee or call in sick for work more.

I like when Vin Diesel get's whacked. That guy is a douche.

Life is like an action spot.

I am fine with the situational awareness of the tanks that are buttoned. What I protest is the high riding British TC, who is insanely exposed and a bullet magnet. Note how his US counterpart rides lower in the cupola.

Believe I will have to shelve the Brit tanks until this is resolved with a patch. It is getting unbearable.

Ah....another Tull fan. Still can't understand why they were never inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
I beleive it's because Tull beat out Metallica for the best Heavy Metal album grammy, when they released an album the same year as And Justice for all.

Awesome, thanks so much for the help. I found it. Seems an aweful lot to go through to find it.

Started my first PBEM game and I cannot find the ema files in the Outgoing or Incoming game folders in the CMSF directory. I have gone so far to search by the individual file name and nothing. Any ideas?
Nearly there??
