  1. As soon as the 750W power supply and new tower gets here I am building this:

EVGA nForce 650iUltra (T1 Version) Motherboard

    Intel Pentium E2180 Processor 2.0GHz

    GeForce 8600 GT Super Video Card - 1GB DDR2

    2048MB PC6400 DDR2 Memory

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 400GB Hard Drive

It is the first PC I have ever built. All told after rebates 715 bucks.

  2. I love the "making love" analogy! Only on this board BUT check out this move:

You must mount quickly and then dismount . I usually mount my US troops during set up and get a fistful of "infantry Viagra" that would be the Javelin. I start most scenarios dismounted and use the troops to spot and then decimate the enemy with Javelins. Next a slow methodical advance with split squads hunting. The back up is Stryker’s and Bradley’s. The guys are right slow is the key word. Meet all resistance with all the firepower you can muster.

The decline of Western Civilization is what I call the "garage drama". A show about men who have to build something in so many days and then argue and fight like chicks in an office until the thing is built. I will gladly call myself a nerd for being hooked on war games, Survivor Man and military history but these chopper t-shirt wearing, tattooed ingrates are the lowest common denominator.

I don't have anything at all about games on Fourth Reich between some other ragheads :D but you must realise that we don't have HISTORICAL DISTANCE like in WW2 case.

So spare me your pathetic tirrade. Why we don't have anything against Third Reich games? Just because this historical distance is there.

And I didn't made up lousy sales in Europe of CM: SF. Politics aside.

Hmmm...somehow I see "locked thread" sign in a distance :D

    Star Buddy,

Give it up. Not having a point and speaking lousy English is another handicap. Maybe you should learn Arabic. Better yet read, "America Alone" by Mark Stein, if you people aren't burning copies of it yet.

  5. Maybe we Europeans don't want to buy games with Americans in it?

Seriously has BFC considered bad PR Americans have now in the whole world. They will sell game really good in USA but I guarantee you after Iraq fiasco you cannot walk in "America true freedom fighters" T-shirt without getting beaten around lol.

Come on Euro, spare us the pacifist, socialist, Euro cry baby BS. Like BFC stopped to think, " Oh, I hope we don't offend escapist, social welfare, peace nik, roll over for anyone, in the pocket of the Saddam types in friggin Europe, with CM:SF". Better yet, let’s create a complete fantasy game, where a European Nanny State intercedes in a foreign nation militarily for its own security, where the fate of the western world is at stake! Save, for the British (God Bless the Queen), the rest of you Euros are too obsessed with your 35 hour work week, social welfare checks and topless beaches to do a damn thing with your militaries. So I am sure that BFC realized quickly that a hypothetical conflict involving France, Germany, blah, blah, blah, any nation but Britain, was and is pure fantasy!
  6. This has to be reconciled. I am happy to support BFC, I do enjoy CM:SF, it is a good game.....BUT

This is crap! An additional PR nightmare for BFC who has already taken a beating for hosting the largest "public" beta test in history.

BFC should offer not only a 1.04 patch but an UPGRADE to those of us who paid big bucks for pre release beta testing privileges, a mouse pad and map. By that I mean additional equipment and features not included with the bargain basement Paradox versions. For starters artillery delivered smoke and M113’s for a start.

  7. Has anyone had the occasion to see the one soldier (US so far) that jumps up onto a low wall and the jumps off, then jumps back up and off, again and again. It effectively renders his platoon or section useless. It happened the last time as a platoon was loading into a Stryker, this dancer was the last soldier in the platoon and about to enter the Stryker, when he broke into the Riverdance. He hopped back and forth on the wall while his platoon mates waited in the Stryker. I don’t know if this is a bug or a soldier celibrating.
