  1. Well I have 0 problems with my graphics card and I have all settings set to maximum. 7600GT 256mb of ram, which is a middle range card playing at 1280x960. My problems are mostly with the LOF through walls. Bad pathing even if I babysit them (follow my waypoints rather than run around them). Assault (leapfrog is great, but actually fire on the move, stay together in a building or clear it as you move). Figuring out how to launch my javelins at a building. Sad thing is I did better on Elite than I did on veteran. I still haven't gotten the blast command to work.
  2. What I notice is I can not manually target because it blocks the LOS. However, the computer on both sides does not see or interact with the walls. So both sides will shoot through the wall. The best example I have seen is on house cleaning and taking a squad along the right hand edge. I could do a bit more research to see if it only applies to units on different terrain/building levels. It seems the units at the same base level can not interact in a meaningful way, but the units at different levels can, even when LOS is blocked.
  3. I would like to see a fast forward feature also. I saw it in Harpoon many years ago where it would speed up until contact was made and then it would go into real time. As soon as there is gunfire then yes it should go into real time. As for number crunching if it gets too slow then it gets too slow. I mean in Medieval War my guys would not move any faster if the computer can't handle it so this is a player decision rather than a hardware limitation. Still it seems most of the number crunching comes into effect once the combat begins not the precombat phase.
  4. I was interested in the percentages. For example if an abrams is supported by 10% of the bridges, a bradly by 60% and an Stryker by 90% this is a huge difference betweeen 2-3%, 30% and 50% respectively.
  5. How many bridges in around the world can support a Bradley compared to how many for an abrams or a stryker? It seems you have to include the combat engineers or take very long detours if the bridge can not support.
  6. I am all for not pausing under 3 conditions. One is there are pure hotkeys for every command without having to change tabs. Pathing AI is better. And finally hunt does not cause my units to lose all further commands once engaged.
  7. Yes, I miss the unique commands for each action. Placing K for hunt and K for bailout has been particualary annoying. I suddenly watch my stryker crew leave and then the squad gets mauled. I think there are only 18-20 commands for each unit so please put in individual commands for each action.
  8. My system seems to be running very smoothly. Intel core duo 2.4ghz MSI motherboard P965 1.4 bios 2 gigs of ram EVGA 7600 GT 256 meg ram (94.24 driver) WIndows XP sp2. I am using the onboard NIC and soundcard
  9. I am not sure if my infantry is ignoring the units I target. I kill or capture everyone except 2 guys. I have 2 units literally within 1-2 meters and he is in visual and neither side shoots. I manually target and it shows the command, but they still won't shoot. Are they capturing or is this a bug?
