  1. I'm playing smoothly at 1280x1024, 2xAA, 16xAF, everything maxed out, with WinXP, C2Duo E8400@3.0Ghz and a 70 Euros ATI Radeon 4650 .... so, the graphic card should not be the problem with TOW2.
  2. Gun crews wipe the sweat from their faces from time to time. They look around as well. Nice animations.
  3. I'm running TW2-Centauro with my old PC: WinXP, 2Ghz RAM, C2Duo E8400@3Ghz (€120 or less on E-bay) and a Radeon 4670 (€75 on E-bay). Res 1280x1024, all settings maxed out, 2xAA, 16xAF ....
  4. Yes I did, nice to see my name in the Special Thanks I'm italian so its fantastic just to see italian armored units in action. Great work BF guys! Played just a little but I'll tell you more, wife and daughter permitting, that is P.S.: Hi TCHE, good work!
  5. When I've been at Omaha Beach cemetery in Normandy I saw a lot of soldiers, fighter and bomber pilots graves with italian surnames. That was impressive indeed.
  6. Well, lets try not to get this thread closed, ok? If you were going to model a 1940-41 campaign you'd be right. However, why model a campaign against a weak and badly commanded army? Since a 1943 campaign is being modelled you are wrong. Italian troops, artillery and tank divisions performed quite well under german command. You should know that without italian support Rommel could have never done what he did. Stop reading 1960 english history books and take some good recent books. And read them. BTW, should we model hundred thousands english troops surrendering the way they did in South East Asia at the beginning of the war against Japan? Were they cowards? Probably not, they were simply surrendered, alone, with no supply, no good weapons and no good training .... ah, and what about Dunkirk? Another hundred thousands of cowards? C'mon ...
  7. Tche, have you got the last stuff I sent you? Take care
  8. If you mean "Smart Pause", then run "Configure TOW2" form your Start/Program/Battlefront/TOW2 directory.
  9. I guess it is the massive mod pack ....
  10. WOW! Any estimated time of arrival?
  11. Tche, PM sent. BTW, are you sure that those 75/34 self propelled guns in the screenshots have been used in North Africa? AFAIK they have been used only in Italy and mainly by the germans.
  12. Ok, I'll send you a hi-res scan of the single page in TIF format. My time is GMT+1. I live in Milan, Italy.
  13. Tche, I have scanned that page at 600dpi (you can zoom the PDF page a lot). However, the print quality of the original article was not very good. I'm sorry.
  14. Your welcome mate Feel free to ask for any italian tank/armored car/gun you need. I'll try to find it.
  15. Wow! Received the e-mail yesterday evening (CET) and downloaded the game at 450K/sec on my slow 4MB ADSL connection. Good job Battlefront !
  16. Nice job Tche, keep it up! Have you got the M13/40 and Ansaldo armored car manuals? I'm still searching for other manuals to send you about italian guns and vehicles.
  17. Win XP Pro SP3, 2 GByte RAM, Intel E6850 C2Duo 3Ghz, GeForce 260+, 1680x1050 res, all graphics on max, I get 40-50 fps. With a GeForce 8800GTS I was around 20-25 fps.
  18. Wow! Your doin a good work! You are probably aware that I sent (big) stuff about italian armored to Sneaksie. Anyway, I really hope in an early desert war mod.
  19. I agree, they best would have been a 1941-42 and then a 1943 expansion but you know, they probably didnt have time to model all the vehicles and troops since the beginning of the desert war and, above all, they need USA buyers NOW.
  20. Uhm, my 7900GS+ used 4 pin molex connectors and not the 6 pin one(s) requested by PCI Express cards.
  21. Oh sorry, just checked the XFX site and their Geforce 7950 GT (AGP) requires 350W! BTW, I've been playing with a Gainward Bliss 7900 GS with a 300W power supply for ages, while the official minimum was 400W. If your PC is not full of stuff it will run nice with a 300W and a late 7x Series card.
