Yes, quite strange, but i created a test campaign there i emptyed France of units and just lifted in paratroopers and occupied Paris at the first turn and then i discovered that both the territory anmd surrender scripts in fact was activated, all French countries was created twice. So after i removed the territory scruipts the surrnder scripts still worked.
  3. Hmm, now the surrender scripts is working when i tested again, not sure if did anything.
  4. now i have tried using territory scripts and the german units indeed surrendered, any ideas?
  5. In Global, i had Reichskommiseriat Ukraine and Ostland created by territory scripts, and then the units did not surrender, but these countries where not actually created, the capitals Minsk and Kiev where already capitals but surrenered to USSR at the beginning.
  6. In earlier editions it always has been handled by scripts. Territory scripts can not create countries as i understand - i have tried, then i would need to have the Vichy capital at the map at the start of the campaign (i have that for a few other countries). Another workaround maybe could be to change the surrender_1 script so that the Vichy France and different other French new countries could be German that surrender the turn after they becomes German.
  7. This script is working in my older versions of 1938 calm, and the script is more or less the same as the script that kicks in to split up Poland after surrender and that is working.
  8. In my mod 1938 calm when France surrenders, the decision event to create Vichy comes the turn after France has surrendered and then all African land is german so the surrender_1 scripts can not be activated. Any idea how to fix this?
  9. Doy you need to add scripts for garrison the minors capitols? Or are the AI-engine doing this anyway?
  10. Now i have made a 1938 Calm before the storm using the ww1 engine, the scripts are similar as the global one but i have added some also and the map is different. Game starts july 15th 1938 8 majors: UK, France, USA, USSR and British Commonwealth as allies Germany, Italy and Spain as Axis Some notes about the game: Battleships strike range 2 German rail guns can strike 4 other nations 3 German tanks has soft tank defense 4, other nations 3 Abbysinia corps has soft attack and defense 2 The rocket is used for all nations except USSR and Germany as fortress guns with strike range 1 USSR rockets has strike range 3 and Germanys 10 Cavalry becomes when it has infantry weapons reaserch anti tank units (i wish there old anti tank reaserch was there since i only will use 2 levels of infantry researsch) Naval upgrade i have made very expensive and also given some countries the maximum level 2 right at the start, since level 2 battleships/cruisers will be new ones build in mid 1930s and forward, level 1 is 1920s and level0 is ww1 battleships/cruisers.   12. ok, i have been able to get the files down to 3074x1590 but it still does not look good, for instance the garrison unit shows parts of the garrison and parts of the HQ picture! There seems to be some problem with my original file.
  13. i got the paint.net but still have same problem. i choose resize and set output size 3074x1590 but the output file is 3046x1590.
  14. In my mod, when i zoom my units changes to other ones, i guess this could be that the bitmaps files has wrong size. original= 4081x2130 and 3074x1590 my zoomed has 3061x1598. How do i fix this? I had simply reduced size to 75% and changed name to zoom.
  15. Hmm, as i understand unit morale is affected if NM is under90% And if you get below 1% you will surrender But i also see decision events for NM below 50% and 25% and also some for 19% and 15%, what happens for these?
  16. It´s the same in the Global game, but in my mod there i included Surrender_2 scripts to work around it.
  17. When the map is bigger now and we have more units on the map, when the cpital is taken it can take many turns for the actual surrender, specially France that can have many units on colonies and at sea. Should there not be a way for modders to change the 3% and 6% rule for units remaining?
  18. I have not been ablde to recreate the fault now, and it is not the beginning of the mod. Will it be any help if i send the Error.sav file?
  19. In my mod, just when i am invading Poland i get this: FAILED(animate_unit_combat_and_tile_control_update) What does it mean?
  20. The mod starts july 1938 and Spain i 1% mobilized and has a quite ok army but i want the army to be reduced and the national morale to sink (the morale part is working)
