  1. Hey George Art first thank you for the missing briefings . Now to that first Mission . OK i got you . But KO,ing the russian entirely seems really a hell of a job . But even if you kill all, you will loose a lot of your own troops and the russian get that 800 point bonus. Anyway if it never ment to be balanced .... Looking forward to part 2 Greets marc
  2. We finished the map but with that script its a "no go" for germans. (sorry to say that) Map is nicely done (as all the others) but giving the russian +800 points makes it unwinable for germans even if the player manage to hold ALL flags (worth 800 points) which is of course impossible. 18 T34, all veterans, vs 8 Pz. IVG and some crap Pz. IIIL/N is hard enough.

  5. Playing "Bäkes Winterstrom II" right now and the Editor says that the russian player has some regiment and divisional reserves. We are now in battle 2 (out of 2) and he has got no reinforcements at the beginning. Is it possible that some reinf. can come during the next 60 rounds or is it just bad luck for him ? Handbook is not clear about that. Greets Marc
  6. Anyone know something about the Fog issue under Win7 with Nvidia GTX 460 ? Driver is GeForce 304.79
  7. Not sure if it was mentioned in this 36 pages thread but what can BF say about the upcoming MP modes ? The MP mode we have got is unplayable in RT when it comes to medium/big maps with many units as CM is the most complex RTS available. So the question is: Will WEGO return or at least the possibility to play a game 2vs2 or 3vs3 ?

  11. Played first Mission, what a slaughter .... But maybe some issues - arty comes from land, not from seaside (brought me extreme high FF casualties) - there is no smoke available (arty) - infantry can do some smoke but wind comes from land and blows the smoke towards the sea - all shermans died in less than 60 seconds after arriving (had to reload 2 times to save at least 3 of them)
  12. Hey permanent ! Iam a sudden veteran too (playing it to this day - but the RWM Mod). CM would benefit a lot, even from a 2vs2 MP with WEGO or RT but i guess it will never succeed with this engine. (poor performance etc.)

  15. Damn you George this is a great map and iam very sad not to see any russians on it .... I played it Ger vs AI because RT MP is not an option for me. (shame on BF) But its a really good looking map which brings the eastern landscape into CMBN as good as it gets. Well maybe, some day, we´ll all get the CM on which we so long have waited, with eastern front, WEGO-MP or RT-MP with at least 2v2 and so on ... ^^ BTW, maybe arty is a bit overpowered vs AI

  18. That is not true. I made the test with both games, CM:BN and CM:BB with completely different results in terms of hitting and destroying enemy tanks on the move. I mean, Steve, its not that we dont know the game and how it feels ... For me i play it for 6 years now and the unrealistic accuracy/aiming speed of tanks was one of the FIRST things we (MP buddy and me) noticed while performing our first CM:BN MP test´s. I does not need always a NASA test to proof some errors/issues ingame. But anyway if you guys change the game from CM:SF with a WW2 mask into a realistic and worthy successor of CMx1 its ok for me.
