i played that mission as german (think this is the same mission as for the germans wittmann.) jeez what a fun i pulled my three tigers in one straight line up to the cromwells and as long as i shot the tanks which wanted to flank me the tanks in front of me could not do any harm. so when the flanking tanks where burning i shot the rest down to pieces and just rolled with three tigers around the battlefield and shot the rest. cant wait to try it from the other side but first want my german campaign to end

mine important things are: LOS cover armor (cm style) HIDE command Foxholes

i used the ZiS-2 too. it worked fine. it wasnt a tough mission imo. but the at's did the work for me. Now back in Fance and i have to defend a hill with inf against armor LOL. The wittmann mission was a lot of fun. 3 tigers running across your screen shooting the hell out of everything.

in the demo mine panzerfaust always looks likes fireworks and will always fly over but i must admit one hit and the panzer, it turned arround and shot the hell out of my soldier

@wolfseven set your mcafee of in your services. then download the game and start your services again. go to desktop right click on my computer then manage go to services then again services there look for mcafee and stop all those which have mcafee. hope this works for you

Mattmatt and Moon spilled some stuff over the trees (spanishfly) it makes your tanks horny and they will jump on every tree they see

try to beat that one on veteran Thats really hard still playing that one the first mission (poland) for the germans was very easy but this one is though because the at keeps shooting all my armor to pieces. Will give it another try tonight otherwise go one level down.

hi all downloaded it yesterday without any download manager. Worked perfect took me an hour to download it. Mission editor works fine also but what the hell do you need to do to make an mission. in CM it would take me up to 5 hours to make an mission now it will take 5 days to do it right. example few russian tanks against german tanks you have to do so much and when i wanted to play it they had no ammo?? you even have to put in ammo (havent see it by now will look later) but i really like this option. Hope that people will make nice battles because what i see is you can make them as big as you want.

@kettenhund this is how i done it. Took a the beginning one squad back let them run back cross the bridge and let them in the trench near the houses just down the hill where your armor is. Then rush the truck also to the trench en let my soldiers out en the two at one at the houses left and one at the houses right. Wespe between the barn and the house. by the time your forces are deployed let the wespe and the two at 's shoot at the tanks (and they will lose but they shoot one of two tanks)then i do nothing with my remaining inf let them fight with the russian inf and the tanks will roll by and destroy some units but carry on to the bridge. Then you get the message that you have an new order en more troops will arrive. i let them just stay there a they will begin shooting up al russian armor. the truck is rushed down and disembark and also to the same trench. Then its waiting time. because the armor will come from the hills now your hill is higher so keep your armor there.(they have an better position then the russian tanks) Shoot them up and in the mean time the russians killed all left in the trench for the bridge will go over but there is now enough firepower to kill them and they will die quickly and retreat . So i think the best tactics is to keep them in the first minutes far away so the enemy inf will get shot by yours and the enemy tanks will only fire on your at's. after they are destroyed it still takes them time to get over the bridge by then your reserves are there and they shoot them up. hope this will help a little bit

i like the american officer with his sergant stripes. The tiger and king tiger will appear after the first reinforsments with panther. When your tanks are down you get them. Otherwise you ll win before they show up.

@pascal, when i read all the threads i thought maybe orderd to soon. But after playing the demo i am just glad to have it pre orderd . This game will make the wait for the new CM camp. just a little bit shorter. Thats the game iam waiting for.

i have vista ultimate e6600 dual core 2 gig mem @800mhz 8800gtx it runs smoothly even under vista i have put the option only one cpu (didnt try it when i put it off) running 1280*1024 everything on. *nows waits for the sound mods*

g-17 S-10 U-17 P-20 0-19 the sounds are the only thing i would like to have improved the rest is more the ok

the disembark key is there used it in the demo serveral times just click on the truck en there on your right you got an disembark key also a key for unloading you AT Hold fire didnt miss it or used it until now. Hold postition is the stop button (i think it work for me) the only option i miss is the shoot and scoot option

i as an old CM (dont mind the tag because its my 8 name) Iam very pleased how this game works. Ofcourse the game plays different but after een hour you get used to the cam and know how to get quick to frontline. The tactics are different from CM because of the cover en entering buildings so you'll have to do a different setup which i normaly would do in CMBB or CMAK. There you put your inf in the forest, trench but mostly in heavy buildings. Still have to get used to when i push enter i see what my tank sees but when my turret turns i keep looking in same way (thats frustrating). My tanks reversed perfectly and the reason why i got an victory is that my two paks kept the tanks al long time away from the brigde destroyed two tanks. So when the reinforsments arrived i only rushed the truck down the hill a let all the tanks shoot a tank battle. When the lost there tanks i lost nearly all mine but when the next russian tanks came my next reinforsments came. Those shot the tanks to hell and then saw russian inf running back to there lines and the scenario was over. It was a really funny mission. Keep up the good work

@filippo 10$ cheaper NOT you still have to pay 11$ shipping. so pls think twice. If i can get it in a shop it will cost me less and yes i have to wait a few days more. But when i pre order i pay more so i want to see the game at least earlier. And even more if they say that one of the advantages of an pre order. And if you like to play it in the weekend so do so but many people who pre orderd it would like to play before. just my 1$

@jiggles, it's just frustrating that the demo is released before the pre-order. We pay more (dont say less because you'll have to pay for shipping also) and they stated the whole time that we would have the game prior to the demo. Was F5 ing yesterday the whole day wen i went to bed still nothing 24:00 amsterdam time. Not even an remark that there was an problem. No i read this morning there was an problem why the F*** didnt they tell us this yesterday. Sorry and your remark that is every launch thats not correct. Ill still pre-order CM campaigns because thats the game iam waiting for but it's still not nice to be left in the dark. And i read Mattmatt his responce saying sorry (tnx but pls next time a little bit earlier) In my opinion there could be nothing wrong with the game two days before release only something to do with the download. And when they release the demo i could have waited to play it and then still pre-order my game because they will ship tommorow. So thats why iam a little bit frustrated.

sorry rcmp thought i read somewhere that it could be slowed down. that is not so good when you want to see still action in a slow way instead of pauzing every 30 secs to see if everything is going to plan on the battlefield
