just right click on the cmbb or cmak shortcut run as administrator and here you go. thats normal in VISTA so get used to it. That way you dont have any probs with folders etc. if you want to get administrator rights go to desktop my computer right click then manage go then to users/groups and select users select your name double click and go to members and add administrator

yo here in holland we got also no DVD hope it arrives this weekend. (iam glad i also got the downloaded version)

i have still the same problems as you do i got an e6600 and a evga8800gtx and i had questions about this problem to. i get an black screen when starting the game not when i go to the battle setup but when i try to load the game it will be black. They said in an earlier post i had to make some changes in my nvidia control panel. I had to make so much changes i didnt bother to try because then i have to change those settings every time. (what i remember is that is has to do with anti aliasing and some other settings) so i stopped playing cmbb or cmak (shame but dont want to place my old pc back just for those 2 games) and by the way it happens also in xp jackle47 so dual boot doesnt work.

@kettenhund, what i read from moon is that he thinks we'll get it this week because of customs for europe, i live in holland and have mine either so i hope it arrives soon

@tofke, no mouse , that sound **** to me, i like the mouse in TOW and had the same problems others had when i first used the camera (also a cmxx boy) But after a few frustrating hours i got the feeling and now it easy to scroll over the battlefield and press enter the only thing i still hate is when i press enter i go to a unit view and when i want to see something else i first have to enter again then iam still in the same position when i entered have to go up. Why not 1 till 6 in heights so 1 is down to the ground and 6 up in the air.

@sandy Another sucker fooled by believing the reputation of CMBB and CMBO Uhmm BF didnt make the game 1C did they only gave it more realisme. So dont bash BF for not making a game like cmbb or cmak or whatever CAUSE THEY DIDNT. That saying i hope you still try to wait for the patches which will improve the game much. After that and you still dont like it wait for CMC

@zebedee what kind of config do you use? i play on vista have no probs. works like a charm. run a dxdiag and show us your specs

We got Dell pc's and servers on my work and i must say they work perfect and when something is broken they fix it in 4hours or bring me a new one. We got 300 pc's and 30 servers. So i must say Dell is no whorse then HP. But what i want to know did you install your own windows or do you use the Dell setup / drivers In my opinion you better install from scratch and download all new drivers and try again.

i got a e6600 and and 2gigs of mem @800mhz , a 8800gtx vid and all is high and everything runs smoothly even with many units. Only thing is when i put 2 cpu's ill get also **** fps but on one cpu it rocks.

LOL i got the same prob here added crew loaded the map and there where 8 tanks lined up against each other with no ammo.

@oudy, dont know how much my pc will stress under a big scenario but i hope someone will try to give it a go. ill surely try that one. My pc has no probs running with these battles and iam sure they could be bigger and it will still run good. But hell it all depends on what kind of pc you got and what kind of vid you have. Like CMxx i always played the big ones i must admit the smaller ones i played in TOW are also a lot of fun but i still hope you can make a bigger playground for your battles and see alot more units running arround your screen

yep the sig44 (sturm infantrie gewehr) is in the game in the last missions. But no mg42 at the moment never heard of stg44 i always thought it was sig44

@piecekeeper, depends on what kind of tanks you got and what kind of tanks your enemy got. When i got i tigers against anything i always let them hold and shoot the biggest tanks first. but when i got p4h and i see an su122 i rush to his back and then shoot so it all depends on what kind of armor you got. big ones you better let stay put and shoot because they will have a better chance of hitting something and smaller tanks against bigger try to flank them.

@mikoyanPT, thats not correct reading from Madmatt he says that they will try to get as much in as possible. They try to put for example waypoints in the first patch and also other stuff. But there main effort will be they gameplay bugs (like cannot start the game)

Also from me tnx for the update Madmatt, iam glad you still try to get this all in one fix not a big fix as you or Moon stated earlier. Hope they can fix most problems , and i am sorry i cant help you with the AMD or INTEL problems because i dont have them (thank god) No drop in fps either. The only thing i didnt see in your fix is the ability to make foxholes can you ask 1C if they have a look a this also. tia

Moon , another question regarding the mapeditor, can you also pick the whole map instead of 1/9th of the map so it will be so big even with los you cannot fire at the enemy at the start??
