the only way MOUT is playable for me is with the following settings:
basic training
conscript (both sides)
fanatic(so this counters the conscript option)(both sides)
poor weapons (both sides)
after hours of testing and reading the manual, the settings above decreased the lethality of the game.

great game. it keeps getting better. I dont think there is another game like it in the market.

I want to play long drawn out battles that last more than 2 hours and 15 mins.
I want my men to conserve their ammo.
I want to be able to move from cover to cover without losing 80 percent of men.(I don't move men out in the open)
I want to be able to suppress and manuever.
I am not sure if its the lethality or other factors that needs to be looked at. Players should be given the option to play "long boring battles".
personally, I cannot play any other game out there. Shock force is the only game I like to play. Hopefully BF will consider looking into this issue.

I ran some test playing around with the units settings. If you want to play with lower lethality change your unit settings to:
conscript
fanatic(to compensate for conscript setting)
poor weapons
basic trainning
these settings brought down the lethality and my games were more enjoyable.

this is my official request for a lethality counter/knob set before the start of every battle. Those that would like to see this happen please repond with a yes.

My only suggestion is to give us a slider or knob before the start of battle. this way players can choose to play a quick battle(high lethaliy) or a long(low lethality) drawn out one.

I've been asking for way a to lower the lethality since the beginning. All i want is the option or show us how to tweak the system to bring down the lethality.

I played a few minutes to gauge the game play. It works for me. The only thing i would change would be the time limit.
