Oh, I just considered the ramifications of that one...along with coping with all the other mayhem on the battlefield, we're supposed to run around all our tanks telling the loader which ammo to use? Thats because your men has too low scouting skill. Try and move about with a sniper that has 100% at scouting, you will be nearly invicible.

OOPS....my bad, I was wrong here. Been playing some more, and the LOS seems to work just fine as far as i can figure. As a matter of fact better than many other games, as LOS in this game degrades the hit chance, its not just a ON or OFF thing.

If you bothered to actualy play the game instead of being a total buttock you would know it HAS line of sight modeled. And actualy doing LOS better than most.

Hehe.....the game is good, all the crying you can possible make here wont change that.

Close Combat was crap! That AI it had was just awfull, utterly awfull, or shall we say nonexistant. In my opinion that game is a waste of time. ToW is a lightyear ahead. [ April 25, 2007, 07:55 AM: Message edited by: chanss ]

I stormed the first AT line with my inf, and used my tanks to take out the enemy armor on the left side at about the same time. After that I swinged right with my tanks and attacked the village from the right side(making sure to avoid the char 1bis). Make sure to deploy your paks that you get as reinforcements and also crew the guns you take from the french. That did it for me but I was almost out of infantry and also all my pz38 was out of ammo. The pancer IVc is great for taking out enemy guns.

Left click on the message and you should get to the unit in question.

Robban, there actually is a Retreat button to use when you want your tanks to backout from a fight. If you combine this with the holdfire button the tanks will retreat rather quick while still facing the enemy.

dunkirk and the next mission after that is a bitch. It actually gets easier later on. TIIIIIGEEERS! hehehe!

Is supression modeled in the game? Does not seem so to me. A gun crew that get MG bullets and HE grenades all over seems to be unaffected until theyr recieve a direct hit and dies.

Or stop using pz38....theyr realy low on ammo count from the start.

Actually, can also occur when you have a NON-penetrating hit that makes your armor on the inside of the tank flake loose, doesnt show from the outside. I am not sure but i think its called spall damage or somesuch......

It has happend to me too, I believe it is a penetrating hit, that happens to hit your crewmember but not really damage anything else in the tank.
