So how does manufacturing capacity compare between ww2 and now?( So how faster can you produce equipment now compared to ww2? ) Also how does the bombing of bombers in ww2 in destructive capacity compare to the fighter bombers of today? What Iam trying to find out is would a ww2 in 2006 have lasted longer or shorter than ww2. Using info on manufacturing capacity, industry and bombing power. would the socity of today cope better in rebuilding damaged factory's than ww2 or would todays society collapse much faster in a war? Its theoritical questions for those who like to think theoritical.
  2. Are pontoon bridges created by engineers going to be in the game? Looked in the forum, didn't find anything about pontoon bridges.
  3. Will it be easy to mod Syria into central europe, So that you can create a Nato vs Warsaw pact game? Is anyone interested or planning to do this in the future?

  10. I read a osprey book about the fighting in lorraine 1944. The book says that artillery fire was effective in disturbing and breaking up german armored attacks. looking at the figures in the book, artillery fire was more useful in knocking out tanks than aircraft.   11. What is the sd kfz 234fgst? It is mentioned in the Encyclopedia of German Tanks of ww2 by Peter Chamberlain. 15 were built.

  14. I have found figures from Col Gen Krivosheyev on tank losses on the eastern front. German losses 48,000 Soviet losses 96,500 So do you think their accurate?
  15. Its easy for me to to do a flame job. When one of my shermans gets knocked out, I get a lovely flame and I don't even have to mod.   22. Can we have different shadows on the map created by the aircraft to match the dimentions of the aircraft that is overhead?
  23. I meant 60mm mortars being used as map artillery being invisable. If you have a map larger than 4km then off map small calibre mortars should be visable on the battle map. I played a game 4km long, with 60mm mortars off map when there was no mortars on the map, so the mortars must have been invisable on the map. I get the feeling I have made a mistake. I better find out before people read this and find out that I have made an arse out of myself. Yes, what I meant was 80mm not 60mm off map mortars being on the map when the map was longer than 4km.
