  1. I actually never encountered that problem. Agreed, my Tigers usually didn´t make it through a battle in Bo - but only because a half-dozen Firefly´s or Churchill´s were shooting them to crap. THough I have won the 'Death of the Titans' scenario in AK vs. the AI and in BO vs. a human player. And usually my PAnthers beat the crao out of just about every US/UK tank there is in the battles I've played so far...

  2. Maybe it has been expressed already and very probably my word does not count for much around here, BUT:

I wanted to express my gratitude to all the people that made Combat Mission the experience it is. I never knew what awaited me in the frist place and I never have regretted my choice. A lot of my most joyful hours I spent playing CM and I´m thankful BFC made this possible.

I might not always agree on the decisions regarding future or actual games, but I´m sure they know what they do - at least I know what pressure they´re under becasue I have been in the gaming industry a few years ago.

It might very well be that I will be blamed for this post or regarded as just another immature customer not really adding anything meaningful to the debate, but I thought maybe the guys at BFC would like to read someone´s honest opinion.

Thank you, BFC, for making my life a little bit more enjoyable.

  3. If you´re just interested in Allied vehicles (and especially Canadian) try www.armouredacorn.com - very detailed and good drawings of tanks and vehicles. A few modern ones are on it, too...

I hope they´ll expand their site until it covers all of the markings and camouflage, but that´s only a guess. Rhight now the best choice is to hunt the web (as I did for months) or buy a few good books. Very good are the ones from Waldemar Trojca (scale drawing as well) and the books from www.militaria.net.pl.

Should I find more sites I´ll post them here if you wish. It´s a topic I´m very interested in, too - and getting conclusive information is rather difficult, if not impossible. Maybe we should start a research project aiming at finding such sites or - still better - make our won and put all the info from the books together for people who can´t afford them. Who´s with me? ;)
