Yes, I do - otherwise I wouldn´t be able to play the game in winter, would I? *g*

I like your mods, but I find it already rather difficult to spot units on a snow map WITHOUT snow camouflage!
-
Well, that might be an idea, after all.
-
I would like - if you don´t mind. If it´s possbile to play vs. the AI, that is. Where I do hail from, there are but few opponents to be found...
-
Well, what shall I say? Outstanding - as always. if I only could mod the way you do it...
-
I just installed it and it looks great. Thanks, DEY!

But often enough it´s just too tiring to switch the mods for every scenario or have five different versions of CM installed... I modded my CMAK differently: Early war CMAK, mid-war CMETO, late war CMNormandy. Works reasonably well. Maybe - if I should ever have the money to buy a new PC - I think about haven different versions of CMAK installed. But not before.

I´m 23 - I don´t think about the rest. Some things should be left alone...

Could (and would) you tell me how you have done it? I´m trying to do technical drawings for a project of mine, but can´t really get the ahng of it. So every bit of advice and help would be deeply appreciated!

Try www.theblitz.org - one of the best online wargaming clubs around...
-
@MikeyD: So you do ther work as well? Might I inquire what you are doing when not at modding? Just a little curious...
-
Okay, no problem. I´m waiting. If everything turns out well , I won´t be disappointed.
-
I actually never encountered that problem. Agreed, my Tigers usually didn´t make it through a battle in Bo - but only because a half-dozen Firefly´s or Churchill´s were shooting them to crap. THough I have won the 'Death of the Titans' scenario in AK vs. the AI and in BO vs. a human player. And usually my PAnthers beat the crao out of just about every US/UK tank there is in the battles I've played so far...

Maybe he´s figuring out how to do his first CM:SF mods? Though it seems we´d need a few more CMBB mods next, as we´ll play the next few years, I guess.
-
Maybe I could... I´ll have more time than I anticipated, so if you just need a man, answer me here or mail to: traenenbringer@gmx.de

Maybe it has been expressed already and very probably my word does not count for much around here, BUT:
I wanted to express my gratitude to all the people that made Combat Mission the experience it is. I never knew what awaited me in the frist place and I never have regretted my choice. A lot of my most joyful hours I spent playing CM and I´m thankful BFC made this possible.
I might not always agree on the decisions regarding future or actual games, but I´m sure they know what they do - at least I know what pressure they´re under becasue I have been in the gaming industry a few years ago.
It might very well be that I will be blamed for this post or regarded as just another immature customer not really adding anything meaningful to the debate, but I thought maybe the guys at BFC would like to read someone´s honest opinion.
Thank you, BFC, for making my life a little bit more enjoyable.

I can only agree...
-
And no grass mod at all! How could they?
-
Thank you, Mikey! Thank you again and again and again... We wouldn´t know what to do without you!

Nice video and interesting operation. Thanks a lot!

Yes, I think it´s a RAM problem... it occurred a few times in my games, too - though just when I had not very much RAM left...

If you´re just interested in Allied vehicles (and especially Canadian) try www.armouredacorn.com - very detailed and good drawings of tanks and vehicles. A few modern ones are on it, too...
I hope they´ll expand their site until it covers all of the markings and camouflage, but that´s only a guess. Rhight now the best choice is to hunt the web (as I did for months) or buy a few good books. Very good are the ones from Waldemar Trojca (scale drawing as well) and the books from www.militaria.net.pl.
Should I find more sites I´ll post them here if you wish. It´s a topic I´m very interested in, too - and getting conclusive information is rather difficult, if not impossible. Maybe we should start a research project aiming at finding such sites or - still better - make our won and put all the info from the books together for people who can´t afford them. Who´s with me?
-
He definitely does. Though I´m looking forward to what he´ll do next... Anyway: THANKS, MIKE!!!

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Not bad at all, I might say. And it might maybe not be too bold if I add that I wanted to have the vehicle in the background in front of my house...
