  1. Hey Mike, when I play a balanced game the designer has a good chance that I like it. If the game is historical correct but not balanced I will like it not. The China/Japan theather in "World at war" must become more balanced. And it would be nice if the historical strengths and weaknesses are visible. But this is no must to me.
  2. I disagree in that case that gaming matters has to come first. Always and any time. Historical means are nice to have but I wanna play a game. I don't want to repeat history. That is my opinion. Coming back to the new Chinabug. My tournament mirrorgame against Peter now shows the problem. Peters Axis is thru my Axis not. Peters Japan now conquer Russia and my russians could not counter. My Japs are stopped cause some Japanes axistroops I appointed somewhere else early 1941.
  3. Hi there. I apologize but is this correct? I do not see that in the Editor. Still 3/3 VERSION NOTES: 1939 Storm Over Europe: - Increase Anti-Tank TA/TD from 3/3 to 4/4.
  4. To be honest I do not really know what I should do. The campaign is still strange to me. To unbloody, to little action. No more units I could build as China. Almost no units to build as GB. Not many research goals so far and no diplomatic action?
  5. Calculon just reported that he surrender to Tomi. Well done Tomi. Kommandant, could you please have a look?
  6. I could report 2 victories against Clausewitz but agree about timeline. If most of the players may have problems the timeline may have to be thought over...
  7. I am not sure if I understand you. Convoy Loss means how much mpp you loose in a single turn. Not more not less. The real worth is shown in a window.
  8. I don't know about the progress in other matches but my match against Peter could not be finished in time. The match with Clausewitz will be no problem. Anyway I enjoy and will play asap to the end.
  9. Wrong thread Big Al, we are not playing the GOLD tourny...
  10. That campaign was very popular in the Panzerliga. I am making some advertising on our houmpage for your work. Thanks a lot. http://www.panzerliga.de/dt/docs/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=3222
  11. Map looks like the old "Fall Weiss" from SC2 Weapons and Warfare. Nice idea. :-)
  12. News from the Tournament about my matches. Amadeus vs. Clausewitz: My Axis conquered North Africa, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Spain and is watching the Ural (pic. top left). Japs are under pressure in India. Clausewitz vs. Amadeus: My Allies has North Africa, Iraq, Iran and Turkey now. Japan is still in good condition in Asia. Amadeus vs. Peter: Malta should be conquered now but the match is still even. Peter vs. Amadeus: The first Sealion I see in Gold, maybe the wrong time (Oct.) for Peter. But we will see.
  13. OK Big Al, here are some pics I made from my Axis. From my end it is not easy to play cause I am still not familiar with the changes in Brute Force. Many times avoiding combats and bad wheather. The combat values are different too. The map is detailed and good scale. I guess I will have difficulties to be a real opponent but now the games become more interesting.
  14. Oh my god. No!! Partisans are fun cutter. They only absorb units which are needed to play.
  15. I agree to David. There is only some minor money adjustment necessary.
  16. Please Hubert, do not do that. Do not weaken China in attacking value. In my tournament games against Clausewitz (2nd place in fun challenge) China is quite good. Clausewitz too. In my tourny game against Peter it is similar. I remember China in my game against crispy before the patch. My chinese troops finally could push him back. Maybe it was a tiny space too easy and hey it was fun that the japanese field army has to fight. Please not weaken attacking values!!
  17. The base of comparing is always Global Conflict Gold to Global Conflict, right? Are there major feature updates/upgrades from WWI to GOLD. I could not find some.
  18. Thanks Hubert, what if swapped units uses forced march after swapping for example? I am playing the tourny at the moment. So I guess I will show an example here in the forum to show what is difficult to understand.
  19. That would be nice but I wish the swapping of adjacent units would work in full order first.
  20. Hey Peter, good to have you in. Maybe we will meet on the battlefield.
  21. What I find out is if you swap the tank it takes 2 AP for a movement that should take only 1 AP. When I swap the Panzer for example to the red circle the tank had 1 AP left but any army loose only 1 AP when doin the same.
  22. Supplement to my view. Units could swap more than once in a turn and passive units move without having enough Action Points.
  23. You cannot find an opponent? I already asked for a match in the opponent finder. Im ready when you are. I am playing 1.01. Send me a opening turn to heiko.haupt at versanet.de
  24. I agree. And sometimes I wish I could know about DOW events before I DOW a country.
  25. Thanks maybe I mixed my thoughts with the game Panzercorps. There you could always attack and move without any dependence. I mean if you move and attack the army in a row it works but if you move and you wanna attack later in the turn it won't.
