Well, only four our of 23 scenarioes in that search are under 2000 points, and I've played all of them. I used to be part of a group who made scenarioes for eachother, but we've sort of lost contact with eachother. RL messing up things as usual. This is kind of why I thought to ask here, but thanks anyway.

Anybody want to help a friend of mine and I by setting up a PBEM Scenario for us? We're a bit tired of random maps and finding out we show up with armies that generate very one sided battles. Also, some intel and/or story would be nice. So, to preserve the element of surprise we decided to come here and ask someone to throw something together for us. Nothing big though. We want small company sized engagements with little armor support. We were thinking something in early Finland with fairly historical OOBs. Anybody want to help out?

Hi, I just reinstalled CMBB and it seems either my memory (as in my old brain) or new screencard is causing some bugs. I thought there was a way of setting the "Show Paths" setting so that it would display the paths of all selected units. As it stands it seems I can either show the paths of ALL my units OR one of the selected units. Not All Selected... Am I remembering wrong?

About German tanks: AFAIK the Germans had stopped development of new designs after France, because they where convinced they had the best tanks in the world. This didn't change until they met the T-34 and KV-1 in the field. If you want to change history in any meaningful way, you can't just have the Germans waiting 6-12 months, you need to give them better intel about Russian tanks. And remember, the Russians had only just started production of the T-34 and KV-1. One of the reasons the drive on Moscow failed was that the Russians finally managed to get large numbers of them to the front. For every month Germany waits, the Russians get mote steel monsters. -

I depends. If the demand for better graphics stays the same as it is now I think you will have something really close to it in about 5-10 years. We need to find a way for a computer to design custom textures that look real and a way to render them in real-time. According to the graphic designers I know, the main problem is coming up with those minute differences that make up the "Real World". Nobody wants to sit and design 2 million different brick textures by hand. Also, I think the industry wants to focus more on interactivity with the game world rather then better graphics in the years to come, but that might be wishful thinking on my part. -

I set up 10 Quad 20mm's to fire on one Elite KV-1S in the open, and after about 30 seconds it was immobilized and after about 50 seconds the crew bailed. -Alech -
The Panzer VII was supposed to be the "Maus". Three prototypes where built, but it never saw active service. (Although one of them may have fought back as the Russians where capturing the facility inventing the thing.) As for why they didn't name the KT MkVII and the Maus MkVIII... I'm not sure. Might have something to do with engine, suspension and transmission. Also the KT used an 88mm main-gun like the Tiger. Although the 88 on the KT was a bit longer... Personally I think the KT should have been the King Panther, but that's another story. Apparently they started development of a Panther MkII, but the war stopped before it got anywhere.

I find RL is overrated. VR is much better. If they ever get RL 2.0 out the door, I might give it a try again though. -
