  1. Tried to improve the existing whitewash schemes on the below listed AFV's, just done a little recoloring, nothing special.   2. All my winterized gelb PzIV's, and now, gelb PzIII's, all based on the Mighty MikeyD's artwork have been updated. I'd like to think they have been improved somewhat.   3. I've been playing around trying to see if I can somehow improve some of these god awful winter mods of mine.   4. As far as I can recollect, that is the only gelb model I had experimented with somekind of winterized look with. Will I do more!?, I can't make any promise about anymore winter mods. Besides I'm not even sure how much longer I can hang around, real life scenario is starting to come down to the crunch. I strung things out for another year, but I don't know how much longer, the phone may have to go, for sure likely at least the internet.
  5. If anyone should be paid tribute, it's MikeyD, I want to thank him for the unselfish effort in contributing this amazing from scratch artwork. He just keeps getting better and better, and making avaiable clean unaltered modder versions, shows a lot of respect too the community. Thanks again Mike, your artwork has been a very important factor for me in enjoying the game.
  6. Yo Mike, I'm more then a little embarrassed, I hope ya still feel that way after ya see them on the battlefield. The Elefant doesn't really look a whole lot different then it did. It's too bad ya didn't have a clean version around. This is perfect case where it would really be nice for a clean unaltered modder version of brand new scratch art. Speaking of this monster, that poor old Ferdinand likely gets used many times more then the Elefant, due to the popularity of the Kursk battle. I would think it would be pretty easy to do both more or less at the same time.
  7. As always, I'm glad some of this stuff is found to be of some use to anybody. Patboy, I don't expect I'll put anything else in that camo scheme, to much work for a very uncommon camouflage. Though actually I was inspired by a Tiger model using that look. I was planning on redoing that stug with a different look, though I could just post another version to cmmods, leaving that one there also.

Anyway maybe someone else might be interested in giving these a run-through sometime.

  10. Sorry about the screw up on that missing part for the Stuh42. I've reposted the package with that MG shield,(at least I hope it's in there). I'm glad you guys find some of this crap of mine useful, I sure hope MikeyD doesn't mind me mucking up his great artwork.
  11. Or maybe I should've stated a little Matrix action in CM. Always wanted to get a screen cap of a heavy gun projectile in flight, just caught this one by mistake.
  12. Far from me to toot my own horn, but I have a battle over to the TPG's, DEY-Counterstroke E1. I was trying to make it an Human controlled Axis versus Computer controlled Allied, but frankly the version at TPG right now plays better as Russians against the AI. I also feel this version would be a pretty good H2H scrap. It's a small tank only battle. In case your one of these snowy ground haters, be warned it is a winter battle though.

  14. Well I guess I can say Mod(s), being that there is three skin sets in this zip file. DEY_WW_Grey_StugIII_Pack I give what is likely a final try at a whitewash effect on these grey stugs. Hopefully I got them in a decent state this time, got to stop posting stuff before it's ready.
  15. Okay, all the A3's are finished, I think that's all I'm going to bother with, for now anyway. It would appear this game community is indeed a dead duck, hardly worth the bother of uploading mods anymore. The scenario side of things is even worse, it has become an absolute three ring circus, what few people left around seem to think there is only a handful of people that can make battles, so that seems to be a lost cause. I would say it's pretty much over and done with.

  17. That's normal for a tree to show up here or there each time you reload a map. The key thing to remember is that that whole area is full of trees, though the game is coded to show only a few actual trees sticking up out of the ground, and it seems to do this in random places. That problem with the AFV's is what I believe is what is know as collision detection, which could be improved on in the CM games, to say the least. http://www.gamedev.net/reference/articles/article736.asp Grant it I could be wrong on the AFV problem.
  18. Me thinks maybe your right, they do seem even a little too bright on my snow. I'm working on the plain M4A3-75, after I finish it, I'll take a hard look in that regard at the three of them and see if they do indeed need to be darken down a bit.

  20. Okay all the redone skirtless yellow based PzIV's have been uploaded. That early G model has been reposted today with a few minor fixes. Also I've posted a whitewashed version, done on Andrew Foxes gelb modder Tiger, I don't like it all that much but it suits me for now. Lastly a hasty, very weathered worn whitewashed version of Gordon Molek's camo'ed King Tiger has been uploaded a little earlier. Hope they are of some use.

  22. You can't break the ice in anyway shape or form. If making a QB or a scenario for that matter, don't set the Temperature at Forzen of Extreme Cold, then you'll have open water. Also in case you didn't know, AFV's can't drive on the ice, even ford's can't be used by AFV's to cross with frozen water. You could save the QB, then open it up in the Editor and reset the temperature to say.. Cold, then you'll have an open water barrier.
  23. Okay, I got all the yellow based PzIII's in a whitewash, all done on MikeyD's artwork. Also one updated WW yellow PzIV done so far, again done on MIkeyD's artwork. All the above was posted last night I do have that tiger done on Andrew Foxes artwork, I'm not quite sure if I'll share this version or not.

I get snowy trees for any one of the 12 months a year as long as the right region is picked and ground is set for one of the snow conditions, plus the temperature is set at either frozen or extreme cold. The time of the year hasn't got anything to do with it. The trigger is the ground condition, temperature and the region has to be Italy, even All Combined won't work in this case. Cool or cold will get you leafless hardwood trees, either with or without the ground snow. Though unlike snowy trees, just plain leafless hardwood trees on snowless ground does seemed to be tied into the time of year. It has to be at least December. Frozen of extreme cold and one of the ground snow conditions plus the correct region will bring on the snowy trees, regardless of the time of the year. I noticed though, for me anyway that things are a little buggy, especially if your setting for different regions in one session and come back to Italy, it seems to take a lot of toying around to snap the editor out of some sort of blue funk, it seems to get itself into.
