  1. Yo Mike, I was wondering if you would mind updating a couple of my mods I've updated since you packaged them in cmmos form. The ones I'm thinking of, are the following: 1) Hotchkiss 2) Summer & Winter JagdTiger 3) Summer & Winter Tiger 4) Summer Hellcat Also for your consideration, I updated the summer and winter german guns.
  2. Tooz you aren't listening to me, the best way to check what your infantry or tanks and such look like is to do what I suggest in my last post. Say you want to see what you have or don't have in a winterized look for infantry or afv's, lets say the russian tanks for example, in say 1942. Go into the Scenario editor then go into the Parameters set the ground condition to one of the snow options, then set the year to 1942, then okay your way through the parameters back to the scenario editor menu. Next go into the unit editor and change the army to allied and click on armor and choose all the russian tanks, then click ok, which brings ya back to the scenario editor menu. Next go into the map editor and click the preview button which takes you out into the map in real time 3d mode just like when your playing a game, this way you can see whatever units you've chosen in the unit editor. Then you can check out what the units look like in winter or summer, in the above case in winter. You can check every single thing in the game this way. For buildings, trees, etc you just pick them in the map editor and place them on the map somewhere and click preview to go into the map in real time 3d mode and look them over.
  3. Oh I see it's just a few then, holy crap, glad I didn't ask ya to tell me all of them then. I already told ya about the ot-134, I suggest ya look back to page one. There is a snowy brummbar over in the cmak area done by alexoscar, it's numbered the same for both bb and ak. Just do a search for 64640, also first check your bmp folder to see if you have that number, if not then that indeed will fix you up there. It also seems to me that you are ignoring one of the games main strengths, take more control of the game and start using the SCENARIO EDITOR. Take in this context where you want to check out the units ie: infantry, afv's, buildings etc. 1)Go into the scenario editor. 2)go into parameters set the year and ground condition okay your out of there. 3)go into unit editor pick whatever units you want see okay out of there. 4)go into map editor click preview and bam you see them. You also would enjoy fighting battles that you make yourself much more then those bloody qb's. I have never made a qb yet and never will. As far as these non winterized afv's, I'll see what I can do but it isn't going happen overnight.
  4. I found the darn thing, lets put it this way, have ya ever heard the saying " can't see the forest for the trees ". My eyesight went awol for awhile ( or my brain !!! ). Thanks for that list site junk2drive, though I wouldn't trust the afv list 100% I found it to be inaccurate this past winter. Yo vossiewulf, ain't it the truth. Chaos and I'm not talking "Get Smart".
  5. Yo junk2drive, it may quite some time before I have cmak. I can't believe that someone hasn't winterized the allied guns yet, maybe one of the graphic artist modder types would do those up for the cmak players. Why don't ya give it a shot yourself, ya likely would be better at it then me anyway. Hey tooz, you could note a few more afv's that need something done, I'll see what I can do.
  6. This is directed to any of the modder vets. I've just giving the romanian uniforms a snowy winter look, but I can't seem to trace down the bmp for the 1941 infantry pants. Does anybody know the number for them, they just don't seem to be with the other romanian uniform stuff. I have it all done but these bloody pants.
  7. I'm glad any of this stuff is useful to you and hopefully to a few others. If you ever get a chance, I uploaded a couple of battles to the scenario depot maybe you could give them a try sometime and tell me if they are any good ?, or not !!. Just look for the DEY label. I've uploaded the russian assult guns, su76i, captured stug3 and german jagdpanzer4's in whitewash form today.
  8. I reuploaded the t26 pack with the ot-134 tank included this time, if your zip is smaller then 7meg, you have the first zip without it. As far as I can tell no has ever put the bt5a-7a and churchill in any kind of a winterized form, I may have a try at sometime. What about the kv-85, kv1-m41, kv-8 flame and the bt-5.
  9. Tooz I just uploaded the tankettes. I wasn't able to upload that big tank pack, so I had to go into it and fish out each individual tank. I'd be willing to bet you don't have the american built or captured german tanks in some winterized form either. Maybe what you could do is take a look after you downloaded the tankettes and tell me what you still have left on the russian side that isn't in some form of a winterized look. My guess is that there would be many others in your same predicament.
  10. That would explain a lot, though I just made a converted churchill for bo from bb a couple a days ago and it wasn't a perfect fit. It appears they hard coded the dimensions of the bb churchill turret smaller then the bo churchill, right from the start. Thanks for the input.
  11. I run into this earlier this year, asked battlefront about this but never got an answer. There appears to be two sets of bmp skins for the churchill 3 tank. One set is numbered from 3450 to 3461, it seems to have a round hull side hatch door. The second set is numbered from 15200 to 15210 with a square side hatch door. I can't in anyway get the artwork for the 3450-3461 to show up in my cdv version of cmbb. What is even more puzzling is I have a mod by gorden molek for the 3450-3461 bmp set with a screen cap!, how the heck did he get that screen shot?. Could it be that gorden took that screen shot on battlefronts version and the cdv version has been recoded to ignore the 3450-3461 numbers. Or is just plain broken in this regard.
  12. Hi Mike thanks for the heads up on that. If you mean the whitewashed one, I just reuploaded it again after reading your message with the missing parts, it should be complete this time.
  13. I'm still a little confused by you last reply von paulus, what your stating is you don't have and can't find ww light russian armour. I just dumped all of the bmps from gorden moleks ww russian tank pack into a fresh original bmp folder and fired up cmbb. Every tank is here execpt the bt2 and bt5a/7a. If cmmods gets back on line today I'll upload this in non cmmos form overnight( only 28k connection here ). But be advised it will likely be more than the 40mb's, I first guessed at. It would just be to much work to go in there and try to prune out this tank or that tank.
  14. I think von paulus was referring to axis minor captured russian light armour. Which I'd like to see in some winterized state of some kind. Tooz what version of cmbb do you have?, it must be battlefronts. The cdv version already comes with much of what you pointed out on the mod disk. But it's in cmmos form of course. I could upload the russian tank mod pack in non commos form but it would be about a 40 megabyte file.
  15. Sorry for my late response I don't come here that often. Thank you for your kind words and offer of help, but there is really no big deal here. What Im doing is very elementary stuff, I'm no graphic artist and on top of that I'm just using a very limit capable shareware program called photoline 32. I like to see all the axis minor stuff in some form of a winterized look.
  16. Thanks everybody, I'm very happy that you find them useful. As you guys state about 40% of my cmbb play time also is with the axis minors and I seen them lacking in some ways. Carry on soldier. DEY- the daffy
  17. There is several battles I play often that always seem to have an arti strike at the same time on the same spot, right within a few seconds of turn one and none of the FO's have a clear LOS, nor is there any TRPs on map. Two I can think of right now is " The Seam " which always seems to lay a barrage in the upper corner behind the Romanians every time I play it. And the other is " Jaegermeister " which almost always drops a barrage right where the panthers are waiting. This is why I was wandering if there was someway you could setup a barrage for the computer player. I wouldn't necessarily went it to be effected so much but to add a little more immersion.
  18. Hello All CM Addicts I've noticed in some scenarios, where the designer had been able to get the computer player to conduct artillery pre-bombardments against the human player. I would like to include this method in scenarios I make and for the life of me, I can't figure out how it's done. Can someone enlghten me.
