    - I am pretty sure that there is more than just direct hitbox-ray intersections to determine whether pixeltruppen are hit. I would bet money there is in place some fudgy "saving roll" that depends on environmental parameters (like the terrain type of the type where the pixelsoldat stands) and probably behavioural ones (like which is the progress through the sequence of behaviours/animations). The latter would be a way to take into account that the pixelsoldat isn't completely still as it transitions between stances.

    Yes, this more likely correct...

Yikes, I don't remember. Did I give you any feedback?

the M8 AC situation was interesting for sure....Actually, you did mention of sending the Game File up the Chain-of-Command back then to be looked at (that's all I remember).

Thanks Ian, that was it. Soon as they got my email, BF was on it. Great customer svc. They have already resolved the issue.

But pardon me for asking yet another question I can't find a solution for. This gets a tad weird. After your response, I logged into the helpdesk with no issue or at least I thought so. Today upon trying, it won't allow me in. I've used the reset password (which provides a one time key entry), but it won't allow me to change to a new password and won't accept the one from yesterday. The gizmo indicates I have the required 8 chars, but not the 3 unique chars. I've tried numbers, upper case numbers, upper case letters, lower case numbers/letters, and nothing turns the 3 unique chars requirement to green? Feeling a little bit Yamamoto here...

What exactly is the little puter thinking a "unique" character is?

Try one of these for Unique Characters ( especially the first symbol ).....@ : / \ - =...etc, etc

Correct. A good way to think of it is that the last thing that is installed is the version that the game will run at. If you installed the 1.11 patch (I have no idea who would want to do that) then the game reverts to v1.11. So, yes. If you install v4.00 on top of a v4.01 installation the game reverts to v4.00

Sounds Good...Installed 4.1, but reverting back to 4.0 for awhile until some issues hopefully gets sorted out.

Correct. I had posted somewhere else on the forum that you will not be able to move pre-patched saved games and PBEM files to the newly patched version of CMRT (ONLY). Historically, we are almost always able to advance them through a patch but occasionally we are not. This is a case where we are not. The 2 workarounds are:

    1) Reinstall the 4.0 Upgrade to revert your version to the pre-patched version and finish your saved game or PBEM.

    2) Install a second non-patched version of CMRT on your computer and use the patched version for newer stuff and the un-patched to finish up the saved/PBEM games.

Elvis...So, If I reinstall CMBN 4.0 Upgrade I will then be back to 4.0 (it will override and delete all the 4.01 content) ?

Oh wow, that is some help.

    Thanks guys!

I will spent some time with the Red Thunder Demo then and read the linked FAQ thread - thanks!

    Yes, and Welcome aboard...

Oh, and if ever interested in playing against Human Opponents, then post it on the Forum's Opponent Finder section...For me, I try and only play against 'Newbs'...You know, to help them better their Gaming experience (and better chance for me to win :-)

    Got it - thank you...

BTW:  I notice that I have a "Barkman's Corner Revised" dated March 31 2019, and a "Barkman's Corner Revisited" dated Dec 14, 2016.   Wondered if they are the same.  (The original scenario is dated May 15, 2011.)

Yes, the original 'Barkman's was 2011, then the 'Revisited' version came out 2016, but my personal 'Revisited' version is the one in Dropbox now.
