I'm from the UK and I received my 'shipped' email yesterday.
They are probably shipping them in pre-order order, so I'm sure you'll receive your confirmation mail soon.
I also much prefer the smaller battles.
This also highlights my one quibble with the game. Looking at the 'Battle' list I cannot see any indication as to the size of the engagements - if I'm missing the obvious please tell me.
One thing to look out for with Royal Mail. Sometimes they 'forget' to convert the product value to Sterling before calculating the Import VAT. They conveniently assume $1 = £1.
They've tried to pull this trick on me a couple of times.
Just to let you guys know, you have made me a very happy bunny.
I have no problem paying this amount. I've wasted a lot more on other games that only lasted a couple of weeks on my shelf.
Looked to me as if panning was done by the player as well.
Maybe for ToW3 they could do it as a picture in picture. A small pop-up window would be less intrusive.
Thanks for the replies everyone. Still doesn't work for me so I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed a future driver release will resolve my problems.
I'm running Vista 64 with an ATI 3870x2 using the latest Catalyst drivers (8.8). Still doesn't work - black screen with occasional wavy white lines when it starts the battle.
What settings are you using please?
My order is placed. Now excuse me while I stand next to the front door for the next 10 days.
