the best way to learn modding is to try. pinking out things like front wheels sometimes works, sometimes doesnt. see my website where i made pavement - water to give troops something solid to stand on but look like ocean. church turned into a destroyer/gunboat for barrage from top floor.

i got bb while waiting for ak to come out. after a few battles i tried ops looking for something more campaign like. what i dont like in ops is 10-20 turns before contact. or turn 2 a mg and gun from the far edge of map blasts your armor before you even have a chance. but i would try short ops, sometimes the thought of days on the same battle are a turn off.

Buy CMAK. Next choice, CMBB SE CDV 1.03. At least thats what I got in USA at retail. The SE comes with a second cd full of mods and stuff, so you wont have to download right away.

AT CMMODS: Andrew Fox's CMBO USA uniforms for late war. Olive drab, scruffy. Includes 45 infantry, 45 airborne from Super Action Pack at CMHQ. Reshaped and renumbered for CMAK by me. BONUS fishing pole to replace 1915 bmp rifle. Suggest You extract 1915pole to a separate folder for later use. I have included plain arms for infantry and 101st AB arms for airborne, chickwire helmets for airborne. Copy and renumber inf. arms if you want plain for ab. Same for helmets. *WARNING* will overwrite bmps, backup your files. Use MCMMM. Or get Andrew's excellent AF_US3 and AF_US_AB2 to overwrite these bmps.

it does seem to me that split squads is the way to go for recon in advance of the main force. may be they are harder to spot. they dont seem to come under fire like a full squad.

i coulda done better but thought why? actually h-p emailed me newsletter for my printer today, top left first thing i see is this guys hands with a pole. i emailed the pic from work to home just to do this. thanks to your gun mods, i was able to quickly get the bmp number for the gun, open with paint, and go to town. and fix it quick too.

and easily moddable to other things as well the game is just the gateway drug to modding the other addiction

try using internet explorer. when you click log in it should pop up a window. your username is without the @email if successful the grey screen wont change, the blue one on the left will. it should then have welcome xxxxxx then you click on cmak, more choices appear under cmak, click on newest, the right grey screen will change.

and the snow versions?

hey mikey, i was looking at my cmbb mods last night and noticed your white vals. you might check out those for cmak. if they work, maybe upload them to cmmods

i only have FJWINTER_1 for bb, quilted whites. i made a copy and renumbered that for late.
