on pc i was logged in at work and at home. on both pcs i logged off, cleared cookies, deleted all bookmarks. that seemed to fix my problems.

hans is working on some more of his excellent battles and ops. he is on holiday right now but will have some ready soon after his return. btw try some of the mto battles with pac visuals. i've been playing the op "sicily 43" as a marine invasion with the airborne in camo. i agree with sergei. i play ops more than battles. i actually like having to deal with the troops that are cut off and unsupplied. you have to make hard decisions. and i sometimes pull them to the back, saving them for another battle, counting them as reinforcements, holding flags. every game system has its pluses and minuses. some can't be fixed. cm has some things that are hard to deal with, but i still enjoy the games.

i'm sure you found shortcomings in spwaw also. you learn to play with them, not against them. there are plenty of battles (scenarios) that are enjoyable. learn the good and the bad and play the game. jmho.

i just took a look at your bo buildings mod that i have. they would be nice if you could make them work in cmak. btw mikeyd did two nice samll buildings, they are at cmmods.

anyone else with this problem. after the first post, i installed an old monitor which was going very dark. i used the ati control panel, color tab, to lighten the gamma and saved the setting as my name and the number. i made three different settings for different problems. cmak was way too dark to play. sergei suggested pbem helper program. it has multiple gamma settings (more than alt g) once you are in the game. saved me from grief. you can adjust while playing too. if an op goes from day to night and you cant see, just pick the next higher number. way to cool. when i exit or alt tab the game, my desktop goes back to default dark. i open the ati control panel and it resets the screen. i need a hotkey. thanks to sergei.

Since the new server, I show I am logged in some places, but not others, the time diplayed keeps changing. I stopped changing my time zone in profile. I couldn't keep up. I've logged off and on. I will try logging off and work and then at home.

sometimes it depends on the designer's use of no mans land, sometimes it seems like luck. or bad luck. or the fate of war. kinda real isnt it?

i especially liked the part on applying mud as camo. reminds me of a mod for n.a.
