  1. No. One key per purchase. Though it would be nice to allow LAN MP games with the same key.
  2. Moon: I'm thinking of pre-ordering two copies of the game at the same time (to save on the delivery costs) for me and my friend, but how will the eLicense downloads be handled in that case?
  3. Lol what's with that Paradox pricing - €39.99 / $39.99. I wonder if they allow you to choose the used currency freely.
  4. There's also Finland-Russia (pre-2004) to be fought Red vs Red, if there is going to be suitable terrain for it.
  5. Or for a more serious reply, it is designed to caused RPGs to detonate before they hit the main armour, thus stopping them penetrating. </font>
  6. Damnit you are making it difficult for me. So now to get the $20 discount I not only need to settle for a less of a manual, but also need to wait 2 weeks extra! Argh! [ July 07, 2007, 07:17 AM: Message edited by: Exel ]
  7. I really would have liked to order straight from Battlefront, get the bigger manual and download it on release date, but $58 with shipping is just too much, when I can save $20 by getting the Paradox version from Play.
  8. Only that, you know, there are other countries using Western equipment as well. Egypt and Saudi Arabia for instance both have Abrams, Jordania has Challengers, Turkey has Leopards...
  9. Great! But, uh, how come the pre-order straight from Battlefront is more expensive than from Play.com? They're offering the game at €27.99 (equivalent of $38) while you are selling it for €33 (at $45). How come?
  10. The Abrams suspension looked really weird. I hope that is not the final animation. The models are neat though.
  11. This has got to be the strangest topic on the SC boards... ever.
  12. It'd be nice to get hands on the demo before making the decision to pre-order.
  13. Well it isn't. IS3 would be perfect for L5 though.
  14. Hubert, do you have any plans to make some additions in the unit sprite department sometime in the near future? Some countries could really use a few additional sprites, for instance USSR uses the same T-34/85 sprite for both L4 and L5 tanks and it'd be nice to see some variation for Rockets as well when you tech them up. Obviously this isn't the most crucial field of improvement, but just wondering if you might get around improving this aspect of the game a bit as well in some future patch.
  15. We can always hope for things we'd like Hubert to do, but really, suggesting things is rather fruitless. I'm sure Hubert has no problems coming up with ideas of his own, or if he did he probably wouldn't start a new project before new ideas presented themselves.
  16. Can you give us a hint as to when you might be announcing it?
  17. We have two production related techs already, they could simply be made to reduce production times as well.
  18. I wholeheartedly agree on the need for a grand-strategy WWI game - and who'd be a better person to do it than Hubert.
  19. Is it possible to sue people for being incompetent parents? I'd sue these guys for 5$ million for having kids and not being mentally qualified to give them a decent upbringing. In all seriousness I find it alarming that there's an increasing trend of parents blaming everyone else but themselves for their kids' troubles.
  20. Undoubtedly, but that doesn't make it interesting in the eyes of most non-US players. Funnily enough most Europeans would say the exact same about ACW. Of course if the SC2 core customer base is already in the States that may not be a big deal, but somehow I doubt that.
  21. How are the SC2 markets balanced US vs. Rest of the World? Cause I imagine that a US Civil War game doesn't attract much customers outside the country.
  22. Certainly there will be massive fallout if all sides fire all their nukes. But that's different from employing a few tactical nukes (eg. against Iran). Nukes are extremely dangerous, but there's no need to exaggerate their scaryness. One nuke aint going to kill everyone. And mind you, the threat of massive nuclear strike to the user is much more from the retaliation than from the fallout of their own weapons (if launched to the other side of the globe, like from US to China or Russia, or Iran). The treshold to use nukes would be nowhere near as high if other major players didn't have them as well.
