  1. Hey GJS, i just downloaded the latest version and i think its great but, can i ask you one favour? Can you make it so that we can select multiple mod folders, cause i would like to create subdirectories to organise my mods, btw some time next week i'll be posting my card!! Thanks for the great work!
  2. I know what you mean, i also have only been playing for 2-3 months, sometimes i don't know what to do. and i usually don't have a plan nor real objectives, instead i usually improvise along the way.
  3. If there aren't any available could someone make one where the russians who wear their white camo suit are hooded, you know that would be great!
  4. What about AT-mines, they should have some limited use?
  5. Only when they have enough wodka and too few JS2 and T-34's!
  6. What is a Conqueror? i don't remember seeing or hearing about it. One thing i know for sure wasn't available to the allies during WOII. Could someone enlighten me.
  7. I think you can find more information on the 100 mm on the russian battlefield. They have lots of information!
  8. For i would go for the JSIII, good firepower (this is an understatement), decent mobility and the frying pan can withstand a 88/L71!!!!! But since they are just a bit gamey, i would go for 10 ISU 152's, use them in block and let those big kitties come
  9. Yes very true, I bought the game in august and have had no problem at all to download the patch.
  10. Well the the mod database crashed out some time ago so everything's being uploaded back. Patience is a virtue!
  11. How does a gun in real life hide or take cover, because apparently if an ATG hides or takes cover it is out of LOS?,
  12. Oh so that's standard practice?? I thought tanks were for more close support, right behind the infantry. So what would they do if the inf encounter enemy tanks inside the town?
  13. Factual error: Most hilarious was the scene in which the german "Tiger" tank moved towards one house. The tank commander stood in the open hatch and gave orders. First: Never would a tank commander in heavy combat stand up in an open hatch. Second: He said something like: "Shoot onto that house." It is not at all imaginable that he could have been heard, even if he shouted, let alone understood. Such a tank made a noise much louder than the one of a human voice. Ok i know its trivial but i found this on website with movie mistakes. Yes i know i have a lot of spare time. But i have a feeling that this not true, didn't german tanks had internal com devices between crews??
  14. Naaah just give the pixel soldiers the ability to stage a mutiny, where they revolt and hang the CO, THAT will make players be more careful!!!!
  15. Thanks guys, but where do you guys get all these stories???
  16. I know both sides, used a lot of captured equipment and more specifically AFV's, although i don't know in what number. My question is this: where did they get the right ammunition, T-34 for example had a 76.2 mm gun right? Pz IV 7.5 cm right? Did they also captured the ammo, was there enough of it?? Or did they manufacture some more (i don't think this is very likely). And what did they do when the ammo ran out?? Same for PPSh41 i heard was used quite a lot. Enlighten me, please!!
  17. I remember reading something in the manual about troops not gaining experience because you don't get that much experience after say 30 min of combat, like the typical CMBB battle. I've played CC3 quite a lot and I must say that CMBB does lack some sort of red line to guide you through, although it makes up for a lot of other stuff. What i really miss is the rich scenery of CC, in CMBB the surroundings just aren't that varied, but that's just me whining . Maybe they should include some sort of history book with the game, CC3 had one sort of, very superficial though. Maybe maps and pictures could be included in the briefing if that would enhance the total immersion in the game?? My two eurocents.
  18. Play with older grogs, those from the hazy 60's who actually like their butt being kicked!!!!
