  1. Thanks all for the reply, I believe fog is handled differently from dust. I have a Radeon 9700 Pro , I see dust... but I haven't seen fog since I ditched my GF4 MX440.

  3. Is fog going to be an issue for RADEON owners? Sorry if this has already been covered.

  5. An Officer, a Gentleman and a damn fine warfighter....... lest we forget.
  6. OOOOHRAH BFC. Great job! Gimme CMAK NOW!! OK OK , I am over it..... (shivering, drooling........ and dare I say.. gibbering).
  7. Ok is it random? I mean if a battery has 200 rounds and 10 tubes , is the rate of fire random and independant of caliber (although I find that difficult to believe). C'mon help me out here fellas!
  8. Cheers Mike, but I am sure one of the "Elder Grogs" already has that bit of info downpat. (I can't believe the knowledge base of some of these guys!! Don't they realise Albert Speer is no longer recruiting Armaments Engineers)?
  9. I have a 9700 Pro 128Mb card, with x8 AGP and Fast writes enabled , using the latest CATS (vers 3.6) however I dont change my settings from "Application Preference" and all I can say is CMBB rocks at high res and BOY is it fast!
  10. Fellas can anybody clue me as to the timing between salvoes of arty of different caliber? I mean I understand the number of tubes and the number of rounds, but I figure it would help alot when planning/timing a fire mission if I had a rough idea of how many rounds that battery of 150MM arty is likely to fire in any given minute. thanks in advance!
  11. I have recently taken delivery of an Alienware machine with a Radeon Pro 9700 card. I have been reading all over the net about problems with them and different games. I Run CMBB at 1154 32 Bit without a problem. I can also do Neverwinter Nights no probs , where so many others 9700 Pro users are coming unstuck. My advise, DON'T play around with the OPEN GL and DIRECT 3D settings, just leave it set to "application preference" (for handling AA and what have you) and you should be good to go! 15. Let me check it out for ya... watch this space.
  16. Come to think of it, what are those "Sturm truppen" that appear later in the game!? Are they the "uber trooper" of the German Infantry?? They are listed among the Grenadier units but are more expensive. They pack a heck of a lot of firepower (4xMP44, 3x schreks and a tank killer pack).
  17. Wargamer Project Napoleon 1813, by any chance? Gods, that was criminal. </font>
  18. The "Beefy Sounds" pack is good too , I like to mix and match .
