1. For you? I don't know. I guess already 90% of them. (OSF rock mod is new for you for certain )
2. And of coarse if you want to play the missions to: (click to download) OSF Turn 1 OSF Turn 2 OSF Turn 3 OSF Turn 3 - MultiPlay Download these into the Scenario folder (Scn) of your Combat Mission 2 installation path.

4. You'll be prompted with an installation page. It may take take some time before the full package has been downloaded; depending on the amount of simulatious visitors: [ May 10, 2005, 03:42 PM: Message edited by: eichenbaum ]
5. If you don't want to install Operation Storfang or you use an other operating system then Windows (32bit) then you're still able to install and use the OSF Mods with installation program: Operation Storfang ModPack (Universal Installer) - click to download Supported OS: Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OS and Solaris Choose the installation path (manually) carefully: Combat Mission 2\bmp or CMBB\bmp in order to make it work. Note: that this installation will replace the current graphics and cannot be undone afterwards. If you would like to play CMBB with the current graphics then you're advised to install the game onto another path beside the current version and (if possible) apply this ModPack onto this 2nd version. 7. Check your e-mail. Mods are available at CMMODS; but not the rock mod. So I guess it doesn't look that nice on a apple :S Have fun! Nils
8. Thanks! Yes, make a backup of the "/bmp/" and "/scenarios/" folder if there are files you need to protect. It showed that some systems made OSF crash and damage Combat Mission in a way that you need to reinstall the whole game. If you make a backup and OSF does crash; you can place the folders back and CMBB will function again properly. Have fun! Nils
9. Good to see we're still alive I have returned to the virtual world several months ago, but I did not return to OSF. Right now I have joined a team and I'm making my contribution to a Real-time WWII Tank Combat Simulation Game as a computer graphics designer (2d, 3d, UI and website) Real life is offering me hard work, tired in the evenings, RSI, boring-working-days-from-time-to-time... but on the other side new love, sex, playing PC games, booze and since a few weeks sunshine.... Guess it's ok How are you doing?; I see you're still busy here on the forums?! Nils
10. Thanks! This scenario (Kuib'ishevo) cost about 2 months work (in the evenings & weekends - graphic mods included) with mostly 6 men at a time, 400 forum posts and 50 e-mails, countless bottles of alcohol and cigarettes (with grassmods sometimes - depending on the country), 3x OS crash & reinstallation, 1 fried graphic card (Sorry Mark ) and... not to mention the stress (CM bugs) and sleepless nights... OSF Credits: Behrmann, Sven (Trommelfeuer): Playtester, Historian Burdock, Leonardo (MG42): Playtester Eikelenboom, Boris (Boris): Cartographer Eikelenboom, Nils (Eichenbaum): Director, Programmer, Graphic Designer, Scenario Designer, Webmaster Johnson, Mark (Jaegermeister): Playtester MacGillivray, Paul : Writer, Translater Nevshemal, Marty (von Nev): Playtester Woods, Michael (Yabloka): Playtester Special thanks to: Agustí (Haplo Patryn), Santiago Plaza from Puntadelanza.net Lino, Rommel, Akaraphon, Guillermotorre (at Puntadelanza forums) And all who have made a contribution to this project but their names not listed above.

14. It's all very exiting info you give us Steve. Can't wait to see the actual result. I know that even a field kitchen would make my heart go beat faster, but of coarse irrelevant in a tactical simulation How much of the operational level actions are we going to witness in CMx2? I have played around with 8 bit textures with carefully chosen colour palettes (indexed colours) and found that you can't see any difference between good 8 bit and 24 bit in CMx1. That's a difference of almost 66% of data on a users HD (and memory?) for graphics alone. Are we going to see a different approach to bmp and wav files usage in CMx2? Nils
15. Maybe this might interrest you: How do I take screenshots
16. Tooz, The OSF skies were far from ready. Although they might look nice in a screenshot; if you'd use them now then the result wouldn't be very satisfying. I have about 20 different weather & time type skies ready for combining them with mountains etc. Hours of Photoshop work would still need to be done to get really nice mods. A little help would be very productive. It's all very appealing but I can't promise anything; I had to stop with OSF because I could find the time or energy to work on the project. Nils
17. Hi Spartan, Thanks for the flowers! I did notice you on the Eichenbaum.org forums and I want to thank you for the support in the past year Nils
18. That was still in the pipeline of OSF. I wanted to create waterfalls and creeks with the marsh tiles. You can't find these tiles in the OSF scenarios yet. Like the softground tiles some textures had other functions: Here the softground tiles are used as solid rock. It's a bit of a problem to upload them to CMMODS because a standard CMBB scenario doesn't use those textures in that way.
19. Is there any modder who can make us a Prince Harry Uniform Mod for AK? I mean the kaki outfit with the red band... I have already found a pic for the face:
20. Sorry Pat, the skies aren't finnished projects. Normally you have 3 bitmaps (N+S, W and E) for each background and I only developed 3 the same bitmaps for each sky. No sun, sunset, moon are made for East or West backgrounds and they don't 'tile' good enough yet. Sorry There are a lot of these projects unfinished on my system since I didn't had the time anymore to work at OSF. Even found a Crimean trench project just now: (Sumfink impossible becasue the trench image is tiled when playing and only single -like in the pics- when displayed in editor)
