I had a PBEM with IICptMillerII a short time ago, and I figured I'd post some videos.
This one came out rather strange, because for a fair chunk of this scenario, we had direct voice chat with each other via Discord.
This led to some cryptic communications, but also a rather fun atmosphere, which allowed open conversation of the game, while playing it.
It was certainly outside my normal playstyle.
I'll post each part of the AAR here as I release them. Feel free to comment.

Am certain that CM ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE has been suggested many times b4.
It's called "Space Lobsters of Doom", or SLoD for short.

Every time I open the document, the "Die Rolls" column changes.
Is this intended to be saved, and re-opened on each turn to represent new die rolls? -
Looks good.
You're right, the other ruleset was a bit too complicated. -
If you're going to buy it, get the "Big Bundle", then you have everything for a very reasonable price.
If you liked the demo, you'll like the game. -
Every time I see a thread with your name on it, instant read.

From a recently finished PBEM against @IICptMillerII: (What is it with people making un-taggable usernames?)
Talk about your cliffhanger endings!

What baret/knitted cap mod did you use in the video?
That would be TFO's Silly Hats. I don't know if it's on CMMODS, I got it from the man directly.

...and that's going straight into my archive.
Unlike the updated titles, CMSF stuff is tough to find sometimes. -

There's not much Shock Force in there, but the basics are timeless.
Here's something to whet your appetite, one of my early videos:Welcome to the forum. Don't be afraid, we're not all crazy. Well, okay, most of us are...
...or maybe it's just me. -
...sorry. I couldn't resist.

Just a quick status update:
So far, these are all the parts I've planned, and we've finished parts 1, 2, and 3.
I'm thinking of swapping 4 and 5 around, because there is some demand for Mechanized Infantry.
The next video to be made though, will be Appendix 1 - Supporting Weapons. -

Its an ongoing project of his, but there is already a ton of great info in the episodes hes released. Again another great resource.
None of these resources cover exactly how to conduct a mounted assault, but they all cover tactical basics that when applied to any situation, should produce results. And as I said, if you've already seen all of these, they are still worth re-watching.

I made a complete playlist for ease of access to both Jeffrey Paulding's videos and my own.
Mechanized Infantry will be covered in TTP Part 5, but given there is a demand for it, I might bump it up to Part 4.
That won't be for another month of two, though. Real Lifetm has happened. -
Thanks.
I was away for a while, but now I'm back.
I've got a PBEM running with Captain Miller at the moment. After that's over I'll start some pre-production of the next video. -

I agree.

Really?
There's literally nothing else improved about anything whatsoever?
Not even a tiny little bit?
That's awful. -

Then there's the small matter that the victim was female, while the pic shows a man. Sigh.
The man was the victim.

I think the problem is that when you get the MG to deploy in a building, issuing a facing command makes the team pack up the MG, change team facing, then start to deploy again. And since it takes several minutes to deploy a MG in a building, by repeated facing commands you might never see the gun deploy.
While I haven't tested this in v4, this is a phenomenon I have wrestled with in the past.
http://community.battlefront.com/topic/120293-mg-bridge-number-seven-slim-vs-john-kettler/?do=findComment&comment=1627871When a machinegun sets up in a building, it does not like turning to face a new direction by more than a few degrees. If ordered to target something outside of that arc, the gunners will happily spend time undeploying the gun, moving, then redeploying the gun, which on average can take as much as 4 minutes. If you are trying to target something off a corner of a building, or slightly outside the view of any windows, the gunners will simply deploy the gun repeatedly, find they can't target, then deploy again endlessly.
My best advice, leave the gun semi-deployed if you have that option, or if you have to change facing on an MG that can't fire semi-deployed, your best bet is to exit the house and find a new position. It will save you much time and headache. -
All right, I have a very rough cut of the first six minutes, if anyone is interested, watch and comment:

Thanks fellas.
I'll have something soon, life is just taking a strange turn at the moment.
