  1. I just wonder if we just started rockets off with either a base attack of 2, range 1(or start it off with base attack of 1, range 2), while keeping tech increases as they are that we might see some additional usage of rockets without actually changing the game dramatically.
  2. Two quick things in the editor can make the AI even better. Decrease by half the cost of tech for the AI and double the % chance for each diplomancy chit. I'll also be trying some of the AI mods soon.

  4. Can't we just make ANTI-AIRCRAFT RADAR tech also apply to units in cities and have it also protect from fighters as well? This would supply a counter.

  6. Completely agree. Getting the computer to finish off units when it has the chance would help greatly.

  8. Or you can just double the value of each chit for the computer. This will save the AI some MPP and give it a 10% chance each turn to get each tech. Very easy to edit.
  9. Go into the scripts and double the value of each purchase of Diplo and Tech for the AI. Gives it another advantage while not taking away the randomness of the game. You can also combine this with some event % modifications as well to help the AI even further while still maintaining randomness. Just save one campaign for Allied AI and one for Axis AI and you should get a much better game from the AI overall.

  11. Just picked up the game after playing SC a couple years back. Is it possible to have an option with FOW on for the human player but off for AI? This would make a game vs. the AI that much more difficult. What about being able to switch midgame between the human player and the AI? I could see playing the Axis then switching and trying to come back from defeat.
  12. I agree it would make it more difficult, but is a solution without making a new patch or making a mod. Giving up two corps and one army, would be 500 MPP & should still allow Germany to take France, but would slow Germany down. Some experimentation would bring to light where the break even point was. Everyone would agree a point system would be the best route to go, but without mods and no new patch, this is a solution that could be used now.
  13. Here is a solution without making mods. Why not bid with Corps and Armies. Each side bids for the Germans, offering up 1 or 2 corps or armies, or both (maybe even a tank or HQ). Then do a transport of said pieces, send to Ireland, allow Allied ships to destroy the transport(s). Game is equalized. This would work with the current patch.
