  2. Late March 1941 Vichy France surrenders. Last Allied unit in Egypt destroyed. Allied intel indicates Axis invasion of Spain imminent.
  3. March 1941 Axis declare war on Vichy France, Algeria taken, Marseilles corps destroyed but not occupied.
  4. January 1941 While the Battle for Egypt was costly in British troops, it was necessary in order to delay Axis aggression. Luckly, the losses suffered in Egypt were not as high as they could have been. In the Western Med, 2 RN BBs engage a Italian transport (corps) off the coast of Algeria, no Italian warships sighted. The RAF resumes air raids over France and Western Germany against strategic resources. Readiness levels United States: 40% Soviet Union: 48%
  5. October 1940 Egypt a total loss. 1 British corps and 1 Free French corps destroyed in combat, General Auchinleck cutoff from his units and stranded on the east side of the Suez Canal. Only 2 corps (both British) left in Egypt, one in Alexandria, the other guarding the west shore of the Suez Canal. No further reinforcements will be sent to Egypt. While losses were high, the Germans were forced to commit units to Egypt, delaying Axis aggression elsewhere. Luckly, no RAF airfleets were lost in the Battle. Elsewhere in the Med, the British are forced to abandon Malta. [ December 29, 2003, 04:51 PM: Message edited by: Comrade Trapp ]
  6. Late September 1940 RAF airfleet nearly destroyed in Egypt, operated out. Germany now has 3 HQ supported airfleets in Egypt, no more RAF airfleets sent, too risky. Lucky, no airfleets have been lost so far. Auchinleck (5) HQ arrives in Egypt.
  7. Sepetember 1940 RAF airfleet in Egypt heavily damaged, operated out and replaced with a new one. Just gotta hold for a couple more turns. RN Carrier in Egypt disbanded. Stockholm falls, Sweden surrenders. [ December 29, 2003, 04:26 PM: Message edited by: Comrade Trapp ]
  8. Late August 1940 In Sweden, German forces reach the outskirts of Stockholm. In Egypt, the other RN BB and the CA are sunk, there are now 2 HQ supported Luftwaffe airfleets in Egypt. The RAF sends an airfleet to counter. Germany gets Jets +1. [ December 29, 2003, 04:13 PM: Message edited by: Comrade Trapp ]
  9. August 1940 Germany invades Sweden, Swedish forces fall back around captial. The RAF continues to launch minor air raids into France and Western Germany against strategic resources. In the Eastern Med, the Italian Navy assisted by a Luftwaffe airfleet slams into 2 BBs, 1 CA, and 1 CV of the RN off the coast of Egypt. So far 1 British BB sunk, the other BB and the CA expected to go down next turn. Unfortunately, the losses are acceptable in order to delay the Italian Navy long enough to get further reinforcements into Egypt. Lucky, the carrier is sitting safely in the Suez Canal port, reinforced in preperation for further intercepts.
  10. Mid July 1940 Germany invades Norway which surrenders the same turn, British troops land in Bergen. The RAF launches an attack on a German HQ near Paris, no losses inflicted, no intercept made by Luftwaffe. In the Med, Free French troops capture an undefended Tripolitania. British reinforcements arrive in Egypt, Italian movement detected. [ December 29, 2003, 04:14 PM: Message edited by: Comrade Trapp ]
  11. July 1940 An Italian corps on its way to the Egyptian coast runs into 2 RN BBs and is sent to the bottom. A Luftwaffe airfleet launches a minor attack on the London Port, RAF moves into London to intercept any further attacks.
  12. Earlier AAR entries updated with pictures and text to increase quality. Comrade Trapp
  13. Summer 1940 All is quite as the Allies prepare to respond to Axis aggression. The RAF has had Jets +1 since early in the war which was a good break considering the lack of British MPPs in the beginning. We had to quit for the night, it's 5am in Sweden and Kuni needs his beauty sleep . To be continued tomarrow........ [ December 29, 2003, 12:55 AM: Message edited by: Comrade Trapp ]
