I do not, is this still needed for the newer e6850?

I posted detailed info in the tech support forum. Same issues here. I do not have multi-core/multi-CPU patch installed. Is this something that is still needed?

What update to fix the shadows?

Ok here are some stats… Game: Improved for both model and texture Vsync off No AA 1280x960 Driver: Everything set to app (No AA No Aniso) High Quality (no optimizations) LOD Bias = allow Force Mipmaps = none Gamma AA = off As you can see I made the settings very relaxed. The game looks very bad (shimmering, super bad aliasing, jagged shadows), and is not even worth playing looking this bad. But, it’s a good testing start. FPS: Tutorial Mission load up: 23fps Press #1 key = 15fps Move around = low teens Start game = low-mid teens The controls are very sluggish and unresponsive, this is probably because of the low FPS. So, there it is, needless to say I am very disappointed! With my system and after waiting so long to play this game to have it look so bad and run so slow is such a bummer. Using the tutorial mission as the test. 1280 x 960, In game settings make a difference, but not much. FPS are very low, almost need to run on the lower settings to get even close ok FPS. I will do more testing but here is all my info. Other games run totally fine, everything maxed. LOTRO, BF2142 as a couple of quick examples. Oh well, I guess for me the game really isn't out yet. 1.02 so I can use my higher end system to play the game? That sounds odd, for sure...

More testing, FPS are very bad, something is wrong for sure.

Yes, I agree something is very, very wrong with FPS I am getting. e6850/8800GTX,etc...

Update: Super bad performance problems at very low settings even. Check in the tech. forum. 1280 x 960 all settings full on plus x8 Aniso. No problems running. Will have scale back a bit. FPS lower then expected, sad, with a system like this ... Oh yes, please add a lot more SFX. Or at least let us add them, you just put the tags in. I'd love to add national music to all capitals, things like that.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I figured that might also be the case, noticing that there was no AA as well. It'll be fun to see the "full on" screenshots off of something on the 8800gtx level.

On a lot of the shots I couldn't help notice that the shadows looked really corrupted. Is this the ATI card issue?

Oh boy, here we go... good thing I got over being excited about this game around 2 years ago, last time I saw it at E3. For me I accept it as a flawed novelity game, but it sure as heck is not the next CM game ...
