Plea for CMBB mods lost at CMMODs...
Dressler replied to Dressler's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
That's kind of what I figured. I came late to CMBB as I was still engrossed in CMBO when it was released, so I missed out on the CMBB mods the first time around. I thought there might be other modsluts like myself who'd like to get their hands on some of the stuff that hadn't made it back up after the crash, though, so I figured I'd ask. -

Jordan, thanks man! So far, you're the only person who responded to my plea to reupload the stuff lost in the crash. I appreciate it! -
Where can I download Stalingrad and Kursk packs
Dressler replied to Paulinski's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Here's the direct link for the Kursk pack: http://3dwargamer.net/bootsandtracks/ScenarioDetail.php?ScenarioID=31 -
That is far preferable to self-defecating, for sure.

Man, remembering that commercial makes me feel old. Didn't it start with "Hey, good looking,...I'll be back..."? </font> -

Perhaps with a "Mr. Microphone". "I'll be back to pick you up at 8:00!!!" -

No kidding. I've done a few, but only released one I wasn't embarrassed for someone to see. -
Plea for CMBB mods lost at CMMODs...

I was wondering if some of you guys that did such great mods for CMBB that were lost in the big crash and not reposted, could repost them for those of us coming late to CMBB? Chances are, they would also work for CMAK and might be killing two birds with one stone. Pretty please???? -
JorgeMC's Panzer uniforms?
Dressler replied to Dressler's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Still looking... no luck yet. Hey JorgeMC!!! Any chance you could repost those to CMMODs? [ December 08, 2003, 05:58 PM: Message edited by: Dressler ] -
I've got all three games on the HD right now and am using both McMMM and the ver 4.03 of CMMOS and I don't have any problems using any of them. The CMBO mods still work like they always did as long as I unzip the mods to the CMBO bmp folder. CMBB works like it's supposed to, and I use McMMM for the mods that aren't CMMOS compliant. I've taken great liberties with the CMBO part of CMMOS because I have added my own mods, as well as tinkering with adding different options on existing mods and all still works well. I added a US uniform section to mine and converted some non-CMMOS US uniform mods to work and haven't had any problems with it. I think right now I have it written for DD's and ATF's US mods, and am working on an option for switching all the unit sleeve patches (ATF's mod, I think? It was at TCMHQ, but that's down now). I just did it for my own use and I never posted it anywhere because I didn't want to interfere with any future official CMMOS updates.

Now you've seen the game what do you want modded first?
Dressler replied to MikeyD's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
A few people have been putting CMAK mods in the CMBO section for the time being. Not that I condone that sort of thing, mind you. -

I'm working on converting some of the CMBO Panzer IV mods over to CMBB, which I'm sure would also work in CMAK. My main goal is to get the correct running gear on the Panzer IV ausf's G, H, and J which currently have the drive sprocket, road and idler wheels of the Panzer IV/E. I'll probably include Fernando's excellent Ambush model in that bunch as well. It takes some time though, there's a good deal of resizing parts of bmp's, cutting and pasting, and whatnot. I'll put the pack up on CMMODs as soon as it's done. [ December 08, 2003, 04:32 PM: Message edited by: Dressler ] -
JorgeMC's Panzer uniforms?
Dressler replied to Dressler's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Hmmm... if you have all the BMP's, including options, as the mod was in its original form, I don't see any harm in zipping them up and posting them at CMMOD's as long as you give credit to the original designer. You know, maybe something like "Gordon's Tiger reposted" or something and just mention in the notes that it's a repost of one lost in the crash and not your own work. -

I appreciate the offer, but it's the summer ones I'm looking for too. I seem to remember a whole lot of CMBB mods that I wanted to get when I got around to getting the game, but the crash happened before I did and now it seems not too many of them have been reuploaded. Maybe with CMAK out, they'll be back up soon. -
I seem to remember that JorgeMC had a CMBB panzer crew modpack on CMMOD's before the crash, but it's not there now. Anyone know another place to download it?

How about correct drive sprockets for the Panzer IV's ausf's H and J? -
