  1. Lee, there are no crosses on the skirts of this mod, but there is a cross on the side of the hull and another on the hull rear. BTW I did the camo for both versions of this mod. Gautrek added the dust, dirt and mud to his dusty version.
  2. zukkov, this mod was done *BEFORE* I told you that I was going to concentrate on the Russian mods. I had to wait a few days for Gautrek to dusty it up before I could release my version, as we wanted a simultaneous release.
  3. Gautrek and I have just uploaded two mods to CMMODS . They are both StugIIIG middle mods with a brown hasty camo scheme. I did a clean version while Gautrek did a dusty version. BTW I created the camo to Gautrek's precise specifications. Anyway, here's a screenie of my version. Hasty Camo StugIIIG middle (Clean Version) ------------------------------------------- Gautrek should be along in a moment to present his mod. [ July 30, 2003, 07:43 PM: Message edited by: Flesh ]
  4. John, here's an article on the subject, split into two parts. I thought you might find it interesting. http://www.nexusmagazine.com/mjd1.html http://www.nexusmagazine.com/mjd2.html
  5. Lee, my bicolour StugIV and StugIV late both have the same colour scheme as this mod, so you might like to check them out. With regard to Russian mods, I'm currently working on the T-34 M43 and the T-34/85 M44. Both are almost ready to go.
  6. zukkov, relax. I've just been clearing my mod backlog. It's "full steam ahead" on the Russkies now!!! [ July 25, 2003, 07:02 PM: Message edited by: Flesh ]
  7. I've just uploaded a bicolour Panzer IVG early to CMMODS. Here's the screenie. [ July 25, 2003, 03:03 AM: Message edited by: Flesh ]
  8. I've actually experienced this matchup in a PBEM QB. I definitely recommend it. It certainly seems to be the most "fair" that I've come across. In most matchups, it seems that the Russians need weight of numbers to defeat German armour. Not so with this matchup. To sum up, if you want a game where tactics decide the outcome, rather than the purchase screen, give this one a try.
  9. Somebody asked for sharper, harder edged camo, so I've done a version with this kind of camo. Also, I went for a darker and more subdued colour scheme, in the hope that it would blend better with the other T-34 mods that are out there. Bear in mind that it's still a "Work In Progress" and some of the details need to be tweaked and touched up etc. Anyway, here it is.

  11. Here's some more screenies. The first T-34/85 mod is nearly finished. I did it in two different colour schemes. So, which one do you guys prefer?
  12. Mike, your StugIIIG textures made it possible. Thanks.
  13. Gents, as usual, your comments are appreciated. zukkov, okay, I hear you. The camo Russian tanks will be along shortly.
  14. Thanks for the feedback guys. zukkov, okay, I think I can hear the Motherland calling. I'd better get to work on those Russian tanks then...
  15. Just uploaded a tricolour Panzer IVJ to CMMODS. The olbigatory screenie now follows.
  16. zukkov, sorry, I got sidetracked into working on some more German armour mods. Also, I've been quite busy in RL. Don't worry I'll release my Russian armour mods soon enough. Anyway, if you're bored then go play with my new StugIV late. http://www.battlefront.com/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=007951#000000

  18. Oddball_E8, no problem. I'll do some T-34s with sharp lines. BTW I reckon I need some more pics of camo Russian tanks. Has anybody out there got any or do you know where I can find some on the web?
  19. Bogdan, thanks for those pictures. The T-34 I did in German colours is supposed to be a captured one. I just didn't bother to put the German markings on yet. Also, I've already pointed out that most of these texures are just for *fun*, i.e. they are not meant to be historical. I will also be doing some historical Russian camo schemes. BTW Russian camo schemes were not always simple vertical stripes. Here's some pics to prove my point.
  20. Here's two more T-34s with a new camo pattern. Again, it's a "non-grog" pattern. The first is in German colours, the second is in Russian colours. T-34 M43 (German Colours) -------------------------- T-34 M43 (Russian Colours) ---------------------------
  21. Oddball_E8, I'll see what I can do with the captured T-34s. However, AFAIK they don't seem to be used much, probably because of their high rarity. I tend to concentrate on the more common tanks and vehicles. Anyway, here's another preview screenie. The colours are the same as the last pic, but the pattern is more historical. T-34/85 M44 ---------------
  22. When it's done... Seriously though, it should be released in a day or two. Remember that it's the "non-grog" version. The historical/grog version will be available too. I should have a preview pic of it later today.
  23. Here's another preview screenie. I've tweaked the colours to make it look more historical. Also, I've tweaked the camo pattern a bit. Keep the feedback coming. I'm listening. T-34/85 M44 ---------------
