One approach would be to have FOs show up late with lousy LOS, so that they are only really useful for TRP missions.

My take on the general consensus is that the AI makes a hash of attacks, so I suggest concentrating on making it "vs AI defender" or "2-player only".
Still, it seems interesting and please let us know how it plays out...or doesn't. Expect much inaction by the AI, is my bet.

I don't see why everyone's so interested in having those two gurus go to all the trouble of putting out such an article; just ask me what I would do and then...
DO THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE!

Ummm..are you looking for the locked thread third from the top?

Off-road, my money's on a truck towing the biggest gun it can.
The slowest AFV in ASL was the FT-17, which is probably not in CMAK...unless the Italians built some on contract.

Yes - with your recent slew of Random Reinforcement scenarios, we'll have to call you, "Carl-son-of-Znarf-Puppchen"
How's the next version of that Bulge Exit one panning out?

What kind or art did you have in mind...I suggest a tasteful, handspun terracotta bowl filled with some sort of explosive

Ask the designer: maybe he used it as a VP scoring ploy?

Sharpshooters?
It should only take two or three shots per LMG team.
Stop playing "Allow Human to Purchase" and let the computer chose your kits.

Post this at the Proving Grounds if you have yet to do so.

I practically threw my Canuckbucks at them as fast as I could and said, "gimegimegimegimegimegime!!!!!!!!!"
Why have you waited so blinkin' long!

But beware that for certain terrain types (e.g. building, rubble, road) trenches will still show in the editor and during player set up, but will immediately disappear during the first orders phase. Go to the Proving Grounds for hints on this..."Nasty Surprises" is a good one to start in here:

Lost in translation, perhaps...

I can't believe you don't have one on the disc! It should've installed with the game:
"C:\Program Files\CMAK\CMAK Game Manual.pdf"

Can't believe I lost the manual. Having trouble utilizing mortars and field artillery. Also, mounting men in trucks, etc. I've looked on the disk and on the website and can't find an online manual anywhere. Am I simply missing it?
I would be glad to purchase a new manual from Battlefront if necessary. What a great game! As a former Army Armor officer, this is the most realistic strategy and tactics game I've ever played.

I haven't checked the Opponent's Forum for eons.
Just e-mail me directly when you're ready:

I was wanting to start the Ortona Op over the X-mas break but don't want to have to only play it vs AI: are you up for a long PBEM?
[i'm posting here because your profile doesn't include an e-mail address]

I also want to get Ortona from Michael Dorosh. I remember his scenarios from his site he had up a while back for CMBO. Man, he sure had some good stuff there (his new site looks equally good).
Looks like I'll also have to get a new video card. I'm one of those "suffering" with the ATI card and no reduced vis as a result. I'm not heavy into games (other than Battlefront), but am in photo-editing, so as long as the new video card doesn't slow these games down too much, I'll be a happy camper.
Thanks again - I'll go get those now (even though they say about 2 to 4 weeks for delivery to Canada due to Customs
).

NRBH, but aren't the desert "marshes" supposed to be salt marshes, rather than wetlands? Maybe that's why they look odd?

Well, you might not live up to your moniker, but I love having Junk 2 Drive. None of that one-hit-one-kill, I-can-level-that-building-in-two-shots nonsense. No: each penetration is a gamble and infantry in hard cover has a chance of having it stay that way.
In one of my PBEMs, we've got Cruisers taking on M13/40s...and the Italians are holding their own - love it!

Seeing as there is no comma after "YOU", I think we should consider the possibility that it is a declaration of love for some asian woman named "You Ann".

Graffiti artists aren't renowned for their spelling...nor am I known for my memory skills

Have a gander at this:
Looks to be graffiti on the back of this Bren Carrier...something like, "I LOVE YOU ANN"...or maybe it's "FINN"
I have no idea if this is a mod or the one that came with the CD.
I'M BACK with a NEW MEGA OPERATION!
