  1. Driver to passenger:...."and this FBI agent Mulder guy said we looked like what ... again?
  2. A guards company of Anna Kornakovas would not be too shabby either.
  3. Rescued from page 2 If there is a tournament and prizes to be awarded I'm in......I dont drink wine, so my share,(if there is any)..... goes to my new Liege Boo_Radley , who despite being the gamey sod that he is, still managed to lose to Mr Spkr and win me as Squire. There still is justice in the world.
  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Berli you friggen jarhead. Marines dont grow older, just meaner.
  5. I'm curious as to how long it took you before you became exausted, crawling on your hands and knees begging your wife to marry you?</font>
  6. Another Smirnoff Ice aficionado, I suppose? Typical.</font>
  7. There's a nice little club for people with that opinion. Called the "Outerboards" if I remember right.</font>
  8. I find your behavior despicable, and I'm disgusted with the lot of you.
  9. I feel I ought to apologize.I didn't mean to get your hopes up, Boo Radley. PL drinks with ease knowing I'm far too lazy to plan and carry out his death. Now if an opportunity presents itself... Delaney</font>
  10. What really pisses me off is how discussions about the real life inspirations for a computer game for christ sake!!! degenerate into a nationalistic defensive war of words between people who have differing opinions on who was more evil . These are the very same reasons we get into wars in the first place. As long as there are two people left on earth they will argue with each other (IMHO). There a places for political discussions, lets keep it there.!!!! [ November 22, 2002, 10:05 AM: Message edited by: Nidan1 ]
  11. I second Peng's expression. It's either a very pretty monster or a very ugly lady...</font>
  12. Somehow I am getting the feeling that Vienna, Virginia is either a place where the aliens dump those people whom they have taken and dont really want, or its a place to hide failed CIA experiments in genetic engineering with humans. To wit (Witless): Marlow, Herr Hubris
  13. Although I was always a fan of Audrey Hepburn, I didnt know she was with First Airborne. [ November 21, 2002, 02:27 PM: Message edited by: Nidan1 ]
  14. I'm staying out of all this lineage mumbo-jumbo. I'm not sleeping in any litter box either. Give us a true and devilish field of battle, and between Lurker and I, a decision will be battled out, as to who is junior or senior. I would think with all the pomposity and hot air that overwhelms this Cesspool , that some twit would have the available grey matter to devise a suitable contest. Maybe then , I am expecting too much from the collective lackwits of this MBT.
  15. Do you have a tough time eating soup with that forked tongue of yours? I would imagine so, although you're probably quite good on the harmonica. MrSpnkr, you prevaricating pantaloon! Why don't you tell the good...er...um...well, tell these yokels WHY I didn't "get" any of your vehicles. Because you didn't HAVE any vehicles! But I did manage to knock out 4 of your aircraft. By the way, didn't you tell me that there were only three planes? Hmmm...I took care of 4 and there were still two up there at games end. That would make 6. Ah, words come out of your mouth twisted like corkscrews, don't they? Well, in any event, it seems I have a new squire. Time to make his life a Dali-esque nightmare. Where's that Geek Mental person gone to...</font>
  16. Tarqulene, first of all your request is a little confusing because you are mixing AFVs and tanks in the same statement. First of all the term AFV, or armored fighting vehicle, is a more current description of vehicles used in the late 20th century, and not necessarily related to WWII. Half Track type vehicles were widely used by the Americans and the Germans (on both fronts for the Germans). American halftracks were used by the Western Allies, and the Russians as well. They were used basically for transport and protection from small arms and sharpnel, and were not intended to be armored support, per se, for infantry, as they are used today. In many narrations from both sides during the war, tanks were used to support company level actions, and larger units had organic armor support in all forces later in the war. Most of the forces in WWII, especially late in the war, deployed mechanized combined arms forces. [ November 20, 2002, 03:14 PM: Message edited by: Nidan1 ]
  17. Oh great. Now you're going to tick off Neanderthals world wide.</font>
  18. I have never seen this in the game or in real life. A ground fire started by tracers could conceivably ingnite the trees. The Russians used forest fires to disrupt German truck parks and rear areas, but used incendiary artillery and bombs to start them, not tracer rounds. 20. Where the hell were all you other side of the worlders for five hours!!! Not sending turns I'll wager.
  21. That Banana Bread recipe sure must be pretty loaded, I dunno if I have enough space on my worktop to knead such a large amount. Can I make a smaller hole?</font>
  22. Listen up ladies, a three by six, by six hole should be sufficient.
