  1. Hi gentlemen. Since the release date of CMBB by BFC (in USA, Canada...) it seems that bones ceased to exist. But, please guys, show your solidarity for us, grogs of the old continent (or somewhere else) who cannot play yet and have to wait, wait, wait... What about, lucky men, sending here your most beautiful screenshots and transform this forum in an art gallery ! It would be nice, during a week or two, to admirate here that fantastic game CMBB is, and forget (for a moment) our situation ! Thank you and excuse my approximative english !
  2. Try : - http://www.garykrockover.com/cmbb/ - http://www.warfarehq.com/ - http://www.militarygameronline.com/TCMHQ/International.html - http://pages.infinit.net/antaress/cmbbmods.htm The last site is the most complete i know (mods, screenshots...).
  3. Whining, whining, whining... I know that situation: i'm french...and like many other, i still wait formy copy. But do we, european people, have any choice ? No ! Of course i'm frustrated of that bloody "Waffengrenadiere" story, this term doesn't mean anything. But i haven't got any friends or relatives in USA or Canada to order the original BFC version. Of course i have to wait for my copy, reading posts of lucky american gamers, dreaming with screenshots and bones... I will receive the game (D-15) and will playing with, still with a little dream : a patch. It's the only thing we can really wait for. I hope Battlefront staff have this idea in mind, if they do not work on it already ! CMBO and CMBB represent, for most of wargamers, the realisation of a dream : THE wargame about WWII. Yes, irrealistic or non-historically accurate datas make me angry, like many other guys. But i keep in mind that playing CM is a great chance. I would never imagine such a game some years ago... Thanks BFC ! In my opinion, whining in a CDV forum is useless. Maybe here ! More seriously, i'm convinced that programmers will make a patch, resolving some bugs and errors (CDV version is maybe at 99% the same as US version). The excellent work they've done with CMBO and CMBB confirm how serious they are, and also how they are interested about our opinions and ideas. It's a bit rare... Finally, we cannot blame BFC for choosing CDV to make business. More profits BFC make, more longer it will live and create games too ! (CM2 for example) Good bye...
  4. Hi ! Have a look on this french wargames website : www.store4war.com Maybe it's possible to order CMBB in original version for people who live in northern Europe ? I have ordered my CMBB original version game there (I'm french of course).
  5. Hi, Thank you for your messages. So, I have to consider this situation with philosophy... ...and forget real battles in fog ! Anyway, in my opinion, CM is still a wonderfull wargame, and this minor problem won't stop me ! When i look at all this superb bones sent by Madmatt, you can be sure i don't think about fog. Sad but true : I have no choice ! Bye !
  6. Hi BTS, I've got an ATI mobility Radeon graphic card in my computer. Performances are very nice but fog effects are not visible. Manual and FAQ talk about a "fog table" in directX or Videocard window, but i don't find this checkbox anywhere. Do i have to download a driver (my computer is 3 months old, with WinXP, 1.7 Ghz processor, 30 Gigs and DirectX 8) ? Or this kind of graphic card doesn't support fog ? Anyway, will it be possible, with my configuration, in CMBB to, at last, enjoy battles in fog ? Thank you.
  7. Hello, Looking at all the fantastic features of CMBB (and CMBO of course !), i was wondering about the possibility of a kind of "mega game". I explain. The historic theater of CMBO is 1944-1945 western front. CMBB will take place during four years, 1941 to 1945, in eastern Europe, Finland and Caucasus. Programmers have created different kind of theaters : northern, middle, southern Russia. So, is it possible to create a game which contains, from 1939 to 1945, all vehicles, all troops, all kind of theaters (western Europe, Russia, north Africa...) ? I know this will represent a huge quantity of data but, except for desert battlefields, french, italian and polish 1939-1940 equipment, a lot of the job exists now. What do you think about this ? Thanks for your answers !
