  1. It´s easy to understand, I thought: it´s difficult to believe to me than StuKa G-1 cannons can´t penetrate T-34/43 top armor. I made some test and armor flanking and one partial penetration were my best results. I don´t have knowledges enought to say what´s happens here, cause of that i wrotte this topic.
  2. Thank you John Ketler. But this don´t convince me, about disappointing fire perfomance of stuka G-1. Specially if they fire tugsten rounds, I had not seen penetrating hits over T-34 20mm top armor. Other means: I only see one stug in flames.

  5. I have made another 3 test each had 4 veteran j-129 B2 against 9 T-34 43 (late), clear weather open steppe, breeze and without flak fire. Something very strange happened only 2 of 12 (3x4) Junkers drop their 6x550lb bombs, all others seems to abort their drop , or drop 6 very little bombs, There is a bug here? the airplane weapon´s for this model are 20mm and 8mm machineguns and 6x550lb bomb load.
  6. Yes i said before than it aim perfectly, but his target was in open steppe, clear day, and without flak fire. Exactly, although they got a lot of hits didn´t destroy any T-34, is the stuka´s 37mm cannon undermodelled, could it destroy this tank? I always thought than this airplane was a great tank buster.
  7. The Stuka G-1 was design to destroy armor, but in cmbb seem only useful vs light tanks (t-70) and another soft armored vehicles. There is something strange at this, is the stuka G-1 undermodelled at this game?

Yes, each strafe fires two shoots (32), I got about 80% of hits (25,6). Track hits got immobile tanks, and all other (22) didn´t penetrate any armor location, include one quarter top hits.
  9. Before two bad experiences with the Stuka´s perfomance, I have done some test. The airplane seems to aim excellently not problem, but the cannon didn´t penetrate the armor, only get some armor flankin at top hull. Before 16 strafes with veteran crew I got a lot of impacts but only three became immobile, and only one partial penetration give me a crew hit. Was the stuka´s 37mm cannon so ineffective vs T-34?
  10. I thought than Stuka G-1, armed with two 37mm cannon, was a great tankbuster, but playing cmbb I have seem than it´s unable to destroy T-34. Historically was it useless vs mediun soviet tanks? :confused:

  12. I´m attacking with stugs,when they finish their movement commands(some of them) began to pivot in place, . The problem is than theirs are pivoting without order in the opposite direction to the enemy!!! What happens?!!! do you have listen this kind of problem anytime?

  14. HOLA CAID. He visto tú nueva "mod",felicitacioes a mucha gente le será muy práctica. Sin embargo me he fijado también que el término "hull down" no está traducido, ¿existe algún motivo en particular?. De no ser así creo que existe un término en español muy adecuado "desenfilada", otra cosa; "mover hasta contacto" suena un poco forzado ¿no sería mejor?, "buscar contacto".   15. Too many post talk about undermodelled soviets. I think there are two obvious uppermodelled features in Soviet tanks. They has a very good visibility buttoned and high accuracy at great ranges, similar, sometimes seems even superior than German tanks. These proSoviet features reduce historical advantage of german tanks versus soviets. They become extremly detrimental to germans, at summer 41 tank battles, and long range combat with tank destroyers like Gerald said.

  17. My information sources about spw-16 are limited to "German Flammpanzer" Osprey publishing book. The reports about his perfomance seems to be good. But it would to be used at least in platoon formations and due his vulnerability in poor visibility weather. The reports are specially goods when it´s used in quickly counterattacks and urban combat. I think than It was a very specialized vehicle to use only in a very special combat situation.
  18. I have a problem to show Battalion/Company great losses in scenarios, these losses was not due for recent combat, Are due by manpower shortage and a accumulate attriction. How can I show realistic organization? -Removing full platoons -Removing one or more squads by platoon -Or choose the program casuality rate Thank you
  19. CMBB take into account: - Angle of incoming hit. - Angle of armour plate hitted. - armor thicknes hitted (Hull and turret; front, side, rear...)
  20. Sometimes playing Q.B. I would like a option than let you choose different ratios of H.E and A.P. ammo loads in order to battle against diferent forces. by example: let choose 30% a.p. and 70% h.e. vs pure infantry, formation.
  21. I was waiting for new vehicles and tanks, like german spw, not modeled yet. But I don´t see theirs at readme file. are they?
  22. I think than Combat mission has the ideal combination between human orders and individual units AI response. More human orders would be tedious, and only command platoon orders or something similar, could become in a pure " let see the film" game. By example, I think than it happens in a game like GI combat.
