Pz IV long is a great tank, until 44 summer. At this date it become too much vulnerable to enemy AT guns and his gun began to have problem to penetrate some enemy armor. But even after this date it could be useful, like "expendable stuff" and infantry support roles. Sometimes i have used them with very succes even late war like armored fist. But remember you should use them in great numbers, one or two platoons or even more, and backed with high velocity assault guns or tank destroyers. If your enemy have spent too many points with a handful of expensive A/T guns, will be surprised by your choice.

i like flammpanzer III, I know than they were used at italy (6º a 26ºPz division) , then i would like to see theirs at CMAK. Thank you again, Battlefront, for this wonderful wargame, that´s all.

Bump! Seems than anybody like flammpanzer III I know than in CMAK would be much more vulnerable than CMBB due to 75mm and 6 pounders guns allied guns. But they fought at Italy with 6. PZ. (7 units), and 26 PZ. (14 units). Perhaps in other units. I would like to see at CMAK too.

I have read than some of them took action at Italy, with the 16 and 26 Pzd. But seems than they are not present at cmak , Why?

Yes, My experience is than the use of grenade bundle by the squads, is unpredictable. Sometimes squads thrown them quickly, most times, seems than their are unable to use them. :mad:

Well CMAK is out there. I have some questions for the luckey new players. -Perfomance of 75mm sherman gun and bazooka, against 80mm PzIVh and Stug´s frontal armour?. - have the infantry squads enemy captured weapons, like cmbb?

Jason excellent post, as habitual. At CMBO Bazooka, was a really "über" weapon, than give to many headaches(i prefer axis side ), even against the most heavy german tanks... I hope than the perfomance of 75mm Sherman gun, an bazooka, against TigerI & II side armor and against frontal stug armor, wil be more acurate.

Obviously vulnerability of lower hull was out of question, I was refering, to side turret and upper hull (82mm at cmbb). I think than with some angle, bazooka warheads would be hard to defeat this armor. Have someone experience about it at CMAK? Looking the terrible battles than we´ll fight soon, i have the necessity to know something about bazooka perfomance.

There was a long and old topic, but i remember, than the final conclusions were than Tiger and specially King Tiger, side armour was very easly penetrated by 75mm gun and Bazooka. I remenber too than exist one very late (45) Bazooka improved ammo than would had not problems to penetrate that armour. Of course one side shot at 250meters would be a more reasonable range to defeat this armor against the tiger, i don´t think so against TigerII. But i specialy interested about bazooka perfomance against Tiger I.

*SPOILERS BELOW* At CMBO the tiger armour side was underrated and the early bazooka ammonition and sherman gun, has unreal probabilty to defeat it. I have not get the demo yet, but seems than there is a tiger at the demo scenarios. ¿Could someone tell something about it? Well, I think than give a general "green status" to American troops at Afrika and even at Sicily, it´s a easy decision. But What status will you give to Commonwealth, and German troops? Commowealth: regular, AFrika korps:Veteran, or regular with veteran o better HQ platoons?

I think it would cool to see German squads with some garands, by example.

More information about perfomance Stuka g-1 guns. It seems to carry 37mm flak 18 or 36/37, CMBB database penetration values. 500m 0º 30º 60º HE 30 26 17 AP(lg) 38 32 21 if the attack comes fron 45º with normal "ap" shot, it should penetrate.If the stuka use special ammunition, like tungsten their perfomance will be greater.

In CMBB Tiger has 25mm top armor, (late model: 25 deck and 40 turret).Is one quarter more protection than a t-34 also 37mm Stuka gun seems more powerful than IL2 M3 sturmovik, perhaps one grog could say something about it. I think than you are wrong when you say that all airplanes suck against armor, other airplanes are extremly lethal against armor, this one too, against T-70 by example. Sturmovik are terrible vs PzIII a Pz IV. The problem was the perfomance of 37mm Stuka´s gun, I want to call the attention about this matter, could Battlefront or some grog player explain something about it?

Perhaps 20mm at 45º or 60º. I don´t have penetration data of this 37mm gun, but I think that weapon could penetrate this armor without problem, specially if it had tungsten rounds.

I have made two more test, one with four vet. St-G1, without good results, thier cannos didn´t penetrate T-34 armor. Another one with two vet. Ju-123 b3, This airplane has been a wonderful tank buster. they destroyed eight over nine tanks (3 sherman-76, 3 T-34/85, and 2 T-34/43), the other one became immobile.
