Thanks for your kind answers Chavo, you might want to try the CMBB translation mod. It is in the same page that the CMAK mod. Some time ago, I read about a project to translate the voices in cmmb. Anyway, I like the original voices in German, Italian ... Sargento Garcia, the tactical guide is a bit outdated because it doesn't reflect CMAK changes, but it still should be useful for new players. If I recall, the information that appears in "German for beginners" was posted in this boards by Parabellum. Please, remember: if you find inaccuracies or errors in the translated game, send me an email at hawat@ya.com. Help me to enhance the translation

Fernando, el problema no es si sale o no sale una versión localizada en España, el problema es que muchos pensábamos que esa versión localizada no iba a salir. Mis fuentes (puede que erróneas, puede que mal interpretadas) fueron la entrevista que nombra Haplo, la FAQ de CMAK y el hecho de no encontrar la más mínima evidencia en sentido contrario. Ah, y el banner del foro de CMAK Por tanto, dado que pensaba que no iba a salir en España lo pedí en Battlefront. ¿Y ahora qué? 1) Que pago 3 euros más (café y madalenas) más unos 6 euros de gastos de envío (un cine y una de palomitas pequeña). 2) Que espero una o dos semanas a que me llegue. Sé que en el caso de otros jugadores es más, ya que todos sabemos cómo se pone Correos en estas fechas. 3) Que no huelo el manual traducido (en el caso de que lo haya) Para mí no es el acabóse, pero para otros jugadores sí es una diferencia importante. No digo que sea el fin del mundo, pero es que me molesta porque todo esto se nos podía haber evitado añadiendo una simple línea en la FAQ: "En algunos paises de Europa Occidental (como España, ...) estará disponible en las tiendas una edición en inglés con el manual traducido." Tan sencillo como eso. Y si todo el problema es que ha habido un error de comunicación entre empresa y jugadores, me gustaría saber si ese error va a subsanarse, y si la próxima vez vamos a tener una información más clara sobre dónde, cuándo y cómo vamos a poder comprar el juego. I think the problem is that no one knew that the game was going to be released in Spain. A lot of Spanish players ordered the game from Battlefront, and now we are going to find a copy in a local store BEFORE we receive our copy by mail, at a cheaper prize, and with the manual translated to Spanish (which is very important for some people). That's why we are angry :-/

Well, now I am unable to repeat the bug. First, I tried to move the file "Combat Mission AK Demo Prefs" to another directory. When I started the demo, the mode select window appear, and ask me for a 1024x7??x75 hz mode. Second, I deleted the demo, and installed again. Same result. I don't know what has changed. Yesterday, when I plugged the modern monitor, the game ask me for an 85 hz refresh mode. My monitor can't handle that, and that was the cause of my problem. Today, the game just ask me for a 75 hz refresh rate mode, which works fine. Maybe Windows detected the monitor change, and then adjusted the maximum frequency, but I can't be sure. If I you want to run any other test, just let me know.

Hello. I had a similar problem in my computer. When I started the demo, all I can see is a black screen, no music, and my monitor turned off (the power yellow light turned to orange). The problem was that the demo was trying to set a mode with a 85 Hz refresh rate, and that was above my maximum monitor rate. My monitor is a bit old. The solution for me was to connect a modern monitor, start the demo, select a mode with a lower refresh rate (75 hz) and then connect my old monitor. Now the game is working fine. Hope that helps.

The screenshots looks totally awesome How is it going to look the unit menu and the bottom information bar? I would like to translate this game to Spanish as I did with CMBB, and if both interfaces looks similar, I will be able to reuse some of my work.
