  1. Cheers for the pep Mike . I'll manage now that I know that at least 1 other person is in to this thread . Sounds like that you have ran to the same problem that many others do have with their opponents, some just are A LOT faster than the others. The general idea was to give each of you four opponents to play against in order to get at least one game running on the "fast track" keeping you all somewhat happy and giving you more patience with the slower lads around. The problen naturally is that this tournament shall take quite a while before being wrapped up but as none of us is paying anything for this (or getting paid) I hope we can settle any issues that are bound to arise on this subject later on. One brave soul has actually uttered out an idea of dividing the tournament groups (for a later show that is) into "faster" and "slower" series referring to their turn sending rate (not wit ). Hope you enjoy the games though (that goes for the rest of you as well) and being busy with the turns IS a proper excuse for not posting here . -T
  2. Here we go again. I'm back again to find out that nobody has anything to say  . Bah. Back to the 3rd Reich Fact Book and surfing... -T
  3. I promise to seize eagerly any such opportunities with both hands...</font>
  4. Situation critical. I'm off for the weekend. Yes, you have to do without me  . No fighting, bickering, arguing or anything like that while I'm gone - wait for me as I want to be part of it . It seems that we have ready people here so post complaints here and people will certainly comment them . I'll be back on Monday. Have a nice weekend. -T
  5. Cheers for the progress reports once more and congrats to the winner (and sympathy for the loser). As it is the time is up for escurlock (Allied C2) and he is NOW officially replaced. All Axis players in FK&C II shall receive e-mail so they can resend their set up to the new Allied C2. Sorry for the possible inconvenience. I feel lucky to have this going even this smoothly so far... No pointing with fingers Determinant. Intelligence is an important aspect of warfare (believe me as I should know ) and yours was just superior this time. It is grand to blame Lady L for your victory but personally I suspect that skill was also involved. Besides you still have three more opportunities to lose before the finals . -T
  6. "I've done my share!" Starship Troopers CM BB and 40,58% -T
  7. Read you "loud and clear" ( , loud?)laddie, good to hear that you are on to it. Get them running and as it is you might end up sending set up to an entirely new "Allied C2" if this won't work out. Sleepless nights just mean that the usage of alcohol has not increased enough, vulgar language is the sign of a true man (as we all know) and for the last one you should get your own dog if you are to stay in decent terms with your neighbour . I guess this is the reason why my clinic was closed by the authorities . The lad still has a few hours to pull through and perform his duty - if he doesn't it's time to do mine . -T
  8. Good job in keeping the watch Beckman. I'll mail you links if you get lost (or pick one from my signature) . Good job in getting ahead Gpig. I'm sure that everybody will yield to my original plan of gaming pace. That means that everybody gets to play on their own send rates as some of us DO have busy times in RL... Remember to post notes, results and comments (no AARs or OOBs though as the lads in FK&C might learn something they don't need to know). I trust that you guys get the games played. -T
  9. Sounds like the old "100 Minutes" massacres still got the old magic in them . Hope you are not referring to their quality though . -T
  10. Sent him "report to HQ" mail. As he has to notify is he is unavailable for longer time than 48 hours he is in danger of being replaced. I hope that such severe action is not necessary but as I have people in reserve and we DO have rules about how to keep in touch with other players I am authorized to do so IF he does not report back. Other Axis lads should info me if he has sent you his set up back or even played turns. If I did not mention it this is urgent and quite alarming  . I should've been informed sooner of his silence... -T
  11. Cheers for the reports Smope & Schmegeg. For the latter I must add that you need a new hobby lad to get your mind off from all those miles on the road. Ever tried tactical WWII computer games ????? -T
  12. LOL, so that's why I've been losing all this time . I withdraw to ponder this new thought. Meanwhile feel free to converse with my personal reserve . I hope most of you enjoy getting their butt kicked as I have a this strange feeling that nobody will win them all... -T
  13. History has shown us that an active reserve ready for deployment is essential to support a failing initial plan . -T
  14. Okay, first result posted. From it I can get all the necessary info BUT as I requested you should've added the tourney (LFHB) and the e-mails of BOTH participants [bigAlMoho@aol.com (Allied A)+ bigzergrat@earthlink.net (Axis W)]. Good job anyhow and quite a pace you lads have kept up   . Also got your point Mike, perhaps I COULD run one more tourney after 2SoD. Well, if it does not happen I'll provide you the scenarios for "personal use" and at least that way you get to pick your opponents . If the lads will not return their turns and do not bother to inform you what they are up to they are BREAKING THE RULES!!!!! Now we all know what happens if you do that. No, wait - we don't  ... I've informed 50% of the reserves to be ready to replace possible casualty. Mail me and the lad in question and I'm sure we can get this sorted out. One way or the other. -T [Edited as I decided to spare you from yet another post ] [ July 29, 2002, 04:42 AM: Message edited by: Traject0ry ]
  15. Plenty with mix Ummm.... Twenty and six that is. Why would anybody want to know such a trivial info anyways . People around here beat the crap out of any FPS company I ever had... ...probably as you are older than 13 (mostly). -T [edited as the stupid joke did not work on me either] [ July 28, 2002, 12:53 PM: Message edited by: Traject0ry ]
  16. What a grand effort you have laddie. I bow to the direction of such a faithful BTS fan. All good to you. If I ever get the copy (here in Finland that is) I am ready to take on such a grand challenge. It took a WHILE to get my copy of CM:BO though so I give room to others willing to tackle you . If you fall short of opponents I am in line to replace the casualties . -T
  17. Good to have you back laddie, we've been holding our breath. I'm at least as blue as your "eek" graemlin .
  18. Perhaps the nervous crew fumbled their attempt to load their weapon. I certainly would be under great stress if my life depended on firing a thingie called "Projector Infantry Anti-Tank" (with a spring in it) and hitting an enemy armoured vehicle with it. I'd probably hope that the enemy would not spot me and concentrate on "reloading" the weapon . Somebody managing the damn'd thing by oneself and actually getting results deserves a piece of a Russian cannon from Sebastopol. For what it is worth I think he should be given the whole cannon for such an effort . It is a game. It has flaws. Too bad. Play poker as it is flawless .
  19. The stupid tourney system does not allow you to play against each other if you both are Axis . If you have plenty of spare time (you and Jimmie that is) and you are both involved only with "FK&C" I could set up a game for you two from the "LFHB". It WOULD be OUTSIDE the tournament but you'd have a chance to clash arms. I strongly recommend "Audacity at Auillon" as it is my favourite of the bunch . Same goes for the rest of the FK&C guys - challenge games can be set up outside the tourney any time you like. If you (the FK&C guys that is) like I could of course run later a separate LFHB challenge for you. Open to suggestions here. Those playing scenarios from LFHB during FK&C could not (naturally) participate in a future challenge concerning these (LFHB) scenarios. Post/mail your opinions. Like anybody would . -T
  20. Cheers for keeping me informed about the progress. As you might have noticed I monitor this topic rather ardently (MINE, MINE, ALL MINE!) and try to solve problems and stay on track with the 2SoD. If nobody has any complaints I take it that all is well. Six more guys to the reserves and FK&C III is on the road, we'll see if we get the guys scraped up... -T
  21. Dear Sir, we currently can only offer you reserve place. As you fall in to the reserves box you will note that you are currently accompanied by "Kuma of Finland". If reserves gather up to eight I'll lauch yet another FK&C (III) but we need currently six guys more. If the participants in the 2SoD keep dropping out with the current rate you'll both be playing within a week though . -T
  22. No problems lad. If it makes you feel any better you are NOT the only one who had problems with my "splendid" OOBs... -T
  23. Better leave the birds out as if you want some of mine you'd better offer some of yours . -T
  24. Dear diary, Today I mailed the report files. No other work to do than wait. *Sigh*, should've entered LFHB or FK&C myself. Too bad I knew the scenarios a BIT too well . -T
