  1. Welcome to the happy family C-J and Ryddle. I hope this tourney adds up in a decent bloodbath as soon as we get past the initial trouble. Nice to be briefed on the progress of other people as well. My bird has gotten a flu so I must hurry home today . Hope you won't mind this unusually brief post . More chit-chat tomorrow lads... -T
  2. reade@ryddle.com Will replace Axis X2 in the FK&C II No more mails to josbornesprint11@earthlink.net as he is too busy at work to participate. I hope you guys don't get the feeling that if I have reserves you should quit . -T
  3. Okay, replacement is now official. cj.thunfeldt@affv.nu Above is the lad replacing Packman64@msn.com in LFHB as "Allied C". I mail him today and hope to get things "rolling" within 24 hours. Happy hunting laddies, don't forget to write -T
  4. Important notice: LFHB Allied C (Packman64@msn.com) is about to drop out from the tournament due to technical problems (PC scudded!) Reserves have been notified (Thank God I have four in line...) and the first in line has 48 hours to report. -T
  5. Good job sharing your unavailability with the rest of us Keep in mind that it IS stated in the rules... ...though nobody knows what happens if you break the rules  . *Sigh* back to the rules design department and more red tape comin' up ... -T
  6. If I manage this to the end and ever start another tourney you my lad should write the briefings -T
  7. Tee hee, looks like you lads are getting the hang of it. No strength in me to comment all the brilliant posts as they have actually started to pour in. Good thing to have spoiler alarm switched on though Remember lads. Your efforts are not compared to those of your opponents. When it comes to scoring all Allied players (and Axis similarly...) will add up their scores. The lad with the mightiest score to show (around 11 in FK&C and near 10054 in LFHB ) from the Allied players (and Axis once again) will continue to the final challenge. As we shall have three Allied and three Axis players in the finals (FK&C I, FK&C II and LFHB) these will engage in three 4D (Death at Dawn Death by Dusk) scenarios (I'm the only one in the whole world providing 4D scenarios, enjoy the holograms ) which will determine the final winners - ONE Axis AND ONE Allied. Thus having your face kicked in is not that bad (in the tournament, in RW it hurts quite a bit) - as long as the other guys are getting whacked up worse than you! Enjoy the ride. -T [edited as I added the scoring rant here instead of making yet another post...] [ July 23, 2002, 07:04 AM: Message edited by: Traject0ry ]
  8. Too many of us involved to even start naming names... Yet I'm confident enough to produce these scenarios (Briefings are all my doing as "the team" agreed that they should be SHORT and ... can't tell you yet, can I?) and receive all the flames from all the throwers you guys can carry. Still I WOULD really much like to hear what you guys actually think about the scenarios. You know my mail (added my ICQ to the signature for active users of the ancient service)... -T [ July 22, 2002, 12:44 PM: Message edited by: Traject0ry ]
  9. I'll get you yet for the "TraCtory"... And I did not add the yellow (keltainen = yellow in Finnish) for the code lad, you did I guess the rest are too busy to post. Well, I hope they enjoy the games. There was a mix up with posting the set ups. I'm sure it got to the right track after some mailing and replying. Just to make it clear: All FK&C I guys (marked with [?1] as in "Allied A1" or "Axis Y1") will play four games. Each one being a different scenario AND against a different opponent! Thus Allied A1 will play against all four Axis players marked with "1" but NOT against Axis players in FK&C II marked with "2"s. If further mixups appear I'll send a personalized message for each player to clear this out. Luckily most got it just right with their first attempts. -T
  10. Have games runnin' for 24 players yet the reserves are adding up to another group of eight for FK&C. Join now! Check the link for details and signature for mail address... -T
  11. People are pouring in to the reserves and I am starting to entertain thought of yet another FK&C. Before launching it I need to know if people are actually playing or need to be replaced. You know how to contact me if people do not return your mails... -T
  12. Blimey, boss actually bothered to arrive. Time to work for eight hours. Back online if he leaves -T
  13. Dear Diary, Nobody has any complaints  . Time to call it a day. I'll pop in tomorrow and check the situation again. Remember to notify me via post/e-mail if somebody is not providing any kind of replies to your mails OR a mail address goes rotten and bounces off all attempts of communication. -T
  14. Got another result. Remember to post 'em here as well lads. "Recogne Recount" Allied B 37 vs. Axis Y 59 Much blood spilled. -T
  15. Welcome Sir! Having such a large and active reserve always pays off (two guys just notified that they are no longer available so I have none left. Don't drop out! ) LFHB Allied heads up. Set ups to the newcomer at once! -T
  16. We'll miss you. Replacement has been informed He sounds eager I guess he'll reply in no time  You guys keep the show going meanwhile -T
  17. Wow, so you did not get them already??? Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'll check it out. -T P.S. Scenario files are in your box or the mail address I have is faulty. Did not bounce (did not do so the first time either) so I hope it was delivered properly this time. [ July 20, 2002, 08:46 AM: Message edited by: Traject0ry ]
  18. You are not on the road, you are here (and I don't mean the Battlefront) -T
  19. Patience little grasshopper, patience. That is the true virtue of a CM:BO warrior -T
  20. I'm afraid that Gpig still has some playing to do until it is finished. The reason I started the next one this soon was that the guys still having games to play will have less heat on them as you guys with most games done have something else to think about. I'll see this through. No worries lad. If you feel uneasy about the situation just think it as "I get to play and have fun all the time!" instead of "All this gaming I have to do and not even getting the final scores from the first tourney yet"... I knew this would end up slowly. I hope that you guys can share my patience. -T
  21. I've played the bunch of them managing desperation, highly contested success and had my face kicked in once even when playing the "likely to win" side. Less can be said about "Bushmen" as it is my handiwork. You poor troopers have no idea what you'll be put through... That is the way I'd like it best. Hope you enjoy it too -T
  22. Getting on lovely. Remember to stay in touch with your opponents (as you got the addresses) and if they are too fast/slow/impolite just tell them about it. If things won't improve mail me. If you have ANY comments on the scenarios mail me in order to give and get feedback as I don't want people to post here any comments on the initial troops, reinforcements and set up areas for obvious reasons. Once again IF you want to drop it and search greener pastures MAIL ME and we'll figure it out together. No fading to the oblivion please! Use this topic to inform me and others about your progress, sentiments, availability etc. and post as often as you like. I usually have little news for you but post anyway -T
