What about CMMOS v3.02 ?

I've seen Fireflies spotted as ''Tank destroyers ?'' with an Archer picture...gun facing forward.Originally posted by Michael Dorosh:Given the odd configuration of the Archer, perhaps the program code would be more logical if it simply identified the tank as an Archer rather than depicting it in this bizarre fashion.
Very strange, i agree with you MD, logically units should identify Archers easily because of their unique aspect.

Are you sure belgian is a language ?
-
It is displayed as ''fictionnal'' at the Depot.
Is it historical or fictional ?

For variable rarity, you're right. I had only fixed rarity in mind, sorry.Originally posted by Vanir Ausf B:The system Rex was talking about would not be any more susceptible to this than the one BTS is using.

No, it will not work because people would reboot the quick battle generator until they get the choice they seek (the human nature you know...)Originally posted by Rex_Bellator:the simplest way of doing it would be to just do the first part of the equation shown - I.E. in a QB you get a % chance of a unit being available for selection on your purchase list.
Nobody, that's why it is called a rarity system, because rare units will not show. Do you suggest here to have simply a rarity level selection like we have an experience level selection in CMBO QBs. But i think people complain now that they would like to mix experience levels in QBs. So BTS is just trying to avoid this limitation.I don't see the need for a cost multiplier at all, as another poster said, who is going to buy one infantry company of any type when it costs 3 times as much as another.[ May 08, 2002, 11:01 AM: Message edited by: Thin Red Line ]

I agree with Redwolf, i've observed the same (i remember a Stuart not using its main gun during 2-3 turns. The problem solved itself.

It would be great !

I'd suggest the M18 if you have also interest for the Allies vehicules (the skill you don't lack for sure  )Originally posted by Graal:If the CM community wants to see MOD of a different vehicle that I can make I'll accept any orders. My question would be what you wanna see. I'm waiting for your suggestions.
Great work with that Tiger!

It is reported as infantry sounds, so i guess they didn't see, they just heard ; they also saw the impact of shells next to them, tank blowing, etc...
Minor detail anyway, because i, their true commander after all, know it is a gun

i'd also recommend the excellent One Click.

Tanks, i'll try to get a positive ID without putting lives at risk...a difficult task i'm afraid.

My 3 Cromwells IV (75mm)have hunt orders, suddenly on their right, in scaterred trees, a tank appears, identified as Tiger ?.
Instead of engaging him with their AP shells (they have plenty of them left), as i would have expected, all 3 fire smoke at him ??!
How to explain such a reaction ? I have good reason to suspect this Tiger? is a damaged PIV ; 2 turn before the same Cromwells engaged 3 PIV at 300m resulting with 2 PIV abandonned and 1 popping smoke...
Is it because they have short memory and they suspect it is a Tiger and they can't kill him ?
I'm puzzled...

Isn't the Puma a recon vehicule anyway ? So why not using it for recon ?
But there is an old-fashioned way to make war, beetween gentlemen ; remember the battle of Fontenoy (1745) where the French commanding officer politely suggested to his British counterpart :
''Please, shoot first, Messieurs les Anglais''.
We could adapt them to CM and play the Fontenoy rules : Ok, launch you attack, i will not move and my men are ready to receive you fire !

Personally, i'm looking forward Marco's TDs. Don't know if they'll include winter options...
-
Saturnin, is you a incoming mod a late war german paint scheme ?
-
I think the guns have already shot, because at long distance anyway, infantry sounds are inaudible.
-
This M24 positively needs a Mod update...
